I never understood the allure of Quartermiling. Shouldn't You put on road tyres and go the winding roads around Your village in ridiculous speeds never heard of before with a car better than stock like the 162 here? What's the point in going to a boring, short, stick-straight racetrack with the piece on a trailer, risking and probably ruining Your drivetrain on an absolute boring, curve-free quarter mile six times in a row and then going home with it on a trailer within silly speed limits again? (Edit) Nice build though! Thanks for sharing.

Speed is shaping half seconds (and seconds sometimes) out of Nürburgring-laps, which usually last between 7.09 (Sabine Schmitz) ..... ahh, *_minutes_* of course, it's an almost 21 km long bloody curvy, bumpy roundtrip through the Eifel, and 13, 14 minutes with really ambitioned privateers on stock cars and road tyres ..... Speed is shaping seconds out of Passo Stelvio, Passo del Rombo or Passo di Stalle, or shaping minutes out of roads of third to fourth order in Bavaria, Austria or northern Italy, best done of course between 0330 h and 0630 in summer, barely any traffic, but already dawn with enough light to actually see whatcha doing. Speed is going from Munich to Hamburg or from Frankfurt/Main to Frankfurt/Oder in under a certain time agreed on beforehand ..... We can even well agree on a C2C-race from the Red Ball Garage/NY to the Portofino Parking lot in LA,/California, something done pretty often again lately, as I hear. Or what the motorbikers do up Karak Expressway in Malaysia every free weekend. @@manfredschmalbach9023 but you can't go that fast around a corner, youd die. That's obviously not as speedy as in a straight line. These are pure power machines. Just as cool as say a ballet dancing 400cc motorcycle

Not in to Volvo`s but is this the V6 model with turbo fitted? i used to have an estate for a short while, the body was rotton and the fuel consumption was terrible, quite fast tho.
It is T6, 2.8l inline 6 engine from volvo s80.
