Thank you! I have the Logitech already, and just moved to that from my Apple trackpad for fcxp. I was eyeballing that tour box or the stream deck plus. I think I’m going for the one here because I’m not steamer. I also do use Logic Pro a lot, and I feel that the stream deck model may better for that due to the lcd screens? I’m not sure how much the tour box will do on that program? Either way, I’m gonna pull the trigger this weekend on one of them. Yes, eBay has the best prices on them. Thanks for the review! I still have my iPad Air 3rd Gen and my iPad 5th as well as the 10th Gen iPad. I found a first gen iPad but could not get it to reset so I donated it to Freegeek. So, I really need to see some major reasons to upgrade. They are mainly used for media consumption, and they get put in my getaway bag if I have to evacuate the building (Twice in four years for four days due to apartment fires)

I think when you connect the new Magic Keyboard to the 13" iPad Pro, it will run macOS. Just a thought. This makes sense considering the huge cost, it will not really cannibalize Mac sales, profit might even be greater.

The I’d expect Apple to try and make more money per unit with these. So they could go the barely updating the hardware route and just giving fancy names to essentua a firmware update. Then they can introduce accessories and software they can justify subscriptions for. Also no hard drive bumps on sub $1,000 models. With ai they can get away with small upgrades. The most expensive models will get the upgrades and they’ll market those whole leaving out what your average iPad buyer won’t have access to. It’s like the iPhone, only the top tier buyers are getting new tech, the rest get 2 year old + tech.

They could use an M100 instead of an M4, but if they still use iPhone software on iPads, it's just a test of the customers' intelligence! Having the price and weight (with the pencil and Magic Keyboard) as well as the performance of a MacBook Pro laptop, while using iPhone software (incorrectly called "iPad OS"), is merely a test of intelligence for customers who don't think for themselves. Apple has a historic opportunity to save the iPad (Pro) by allowing MAC OS (or some version of it) on the iPad, and if they don't do it now, it will be a big disappointment and the downfall of the iPad!

Hey, welcome back! My take, yes to an improved pencil, yes to a change in face cameral placement, yes on OLED displays across both Pro sizes, no to the M4 chip. Yes to a new Magic Keyboard. I've been working around the lack of a calculator so long I don't think I care, probably won't use it. They might make some additional enhancements to iPadOS at WWDC, but once again it will fall short of hype. It's an iPad, Apple won't make it a compelling MacBook replacement (and they shouldn't IMHO).

I have a 15" Macbook pro from 2016 (first gen touch bar) and I'm finally read to upgrade to 16" M3 Max Macbook Pro. I just need to decide on memory and SSD sizes yet. If this needs to also last 7 years I don't want to skimp on those.

Mac Pro is a scam. Always remember 3 years are short and there will be new tech.

I bought a MacBook Pro 16" with M3 Max and 64gb ram. This is my first Macbook and compared to my Xps 17 the Macbook is in another league.

Coming from an Intel MBP this thing feels insane to me. Blender took 4 minutes or so to render a scene on that, whereas this machine renders the same one in 20 seconds. And then it runs all day on a single charge without going below 50% battery Yeah, the cosmetic aspects were a bit overhyped but I honestly don't care. As a workhorse this machine's making me wonder why all laptops aren't like this.

I must have seen hundreds of reviews regarding these Macbook Pros so it's all boring now. But one thing that was unique in yours : The idea of having a full size keyboard :D.

I almost grabbed an M3 McBP but found a 16" M1 Max McBP with 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD for $2799 at BH Photo and jumped at it! Love it! 💻

I’m still rocking a 2013 MacBook Pro. I don’t know that I’ll upgrade yet, I might stay with Intel and buy a windows laptop. I can’t justify the hefty price tag for my laptop. Now, I would still really like to see an update Mac mini with an m3 max. I could convince myself of that 😂 Yeah, and that’s definitely not black.

I went the opposite direction. Came from a 16" M1 Max to the 14" M3 Pro MBP. The 16 rarely left my desk because I also had the 12.9 iPad Pro. I traded that in and bought the 11" M2 iPad Pro. I'm a rep by day and but also do some photo and video editing and the M3 Pro hasn't miss a beat and the compact size really works better for me. I even tethered the iPad to the MBP this week and had a 2 display solution during a hotel stay. Really like your videos. Wishing you success with the channel.

I saw a video comparing the performance of DAWs on M1->M2->M3 and the M1 won because it has more performance cores than the M3. And by a lot also. So I think I‘ll be going with a M2.

At this point in time I dont care about battery life of my phone. This is tech and it'll eventually die. However, I take good care of it and use my phone to the fullest.
