This was a great episode and season 2 and 3 are the best I didn't like season 4, I'll have to watch it again but season 5, is good so far.

Starship trooper seem to be the fusion of both empire into one. Federation type of control wont work and Terran empire is too brutal and cannot be trusted with highly advanced technology in the way they were portrayed as a symbole of a predator culture.

each solar system that fall will be a lost star , if we reach a point where equilibrium cannot be maintened the frame work of the universe being eaten away will start collapsing on it self. Those island could in theory host billions and be able to flying throught space and avoid combat at all cost. Contingency plan in case of failure and with rift technology and ark we could in theory migrate into other universe aswell and seek more ally to counter enemy of everything

In case of faillure I advise stealing rift technology and construction of floating island in space able to sustain artificial magnetic field as well as generate schuman resonnance. I dont believe in no win scenario , what you see are the result of the opening of the rift from a lightspeed discharge hiting the earth. This was foreseen in Picard Tv show with Jurati taking control of all shield system to mitigate the disaster. But unlike picard something will come out of that rift. An invasive specie that has evolved with planetary size organism. Assimilating countless form of life and integrating them into the swarm using the same principle behind the description of the Kiklyss swarm in the saga of the Seven star read description...A super intellect that surpass anything we have seen from super AI brain to Borg brain to Collective biological brain. They have psychic ability like we do but on a much larger scale. We are not ready for was is to come. Based on preliminary analysis I suggest earth evacuation protocole to mitigate casualty. We cannot win in this solar system. Currently only viable scenario is to travel at faster than light speed and avoid them when they come and I do not know when.
