Her name is Doris Mary Anne Kappelhoff
Megy a lány, megy az utcán, tűsarka kopog..😉
I've always had a special place in my heart for Doris.
This is gorgeous. Such a very fine baritone, my favourite and handsome too. Gordon was a splendid singer and actor. Love him still.❤️
OH i had such a crush on him loved all his films and his singing lovely voice
Oh! She had a beautiful voice!
Welcome to intermission.
Ya ya ya ya 😅
This is the disgusting brainwashing of the 1950s where people are just drooling over achieving mediocrity. She looks like an aspiring middle manager of whipping up the status quo. This totally reeks of segregation, homophobia, normalization of domestic violence, all of these horrific “accepted norms” of those days are seeping out of her face & voice. Two seconds of hearing this song make me so glad I didn’t live back then, I can see why they were all popping pills in suburbia.
NIce suit
Everyone is talking about the great singer. Why doesn't anyone praise the spectacular dancer?! Her pirouettes are out of the world. Did anybody know her name?
Charles Cornell anyone?
Eine sehr schöne Frau!😘
What a voice! Wow.
Boy. Gordon looks as stiff as a board here!
Something to remember.
Greatest singer, ever !!!
Who is that dancer? Wow! Gordon Macrae has such a lush voice....
By the light of the silvery moon, on moonlight bay
Ha
I love Gordon, wow. So amazing. Him and Doris Day
She looks like she has Michelle Obamas mouth
good taste back then look how well these people dress ! so sad when you look at todays society
Как классно поет! Талант!!! И конечно, "Большая Прогулка"!!!
Damn - that girl knows how to pour a drink
He had a lovely voice but this song totally belonged to Al Jolson …….sorry
Who's watching and hear this song in 2024? ❤🎉
Me! I come here everyday to hear to Doris's beautiful voice. I miss her.
Yo
Not me
I'm listening in 2042.
Одни хиты!!!!
Doris Day was pure magic.
La grande Vadrouille anyone?😁
Pretty tall drink she pours for S.Z. “Cuddles” Sakall’s character at the end of this clip. lol (looks like Dimple Pinch scotch, you can tell by the unique 3 sided bottle)
"we will raise a family - a boy for you and a girl for me" This one line demonstrates just how much progress we have made as a society in terms of gender norms. Back in Doris' Day - 😏 - females had no choice but to be dainty and submissive and boys were conditioned to be forceful and oppressive and treat women like their property. I still cringe when i watch the old films, as they got sooo much wrong about gender expression and norms. They didn't keave any room for the individual. They were all just bots. Mindless bots of the patriarchal system. If the political right had it their way then women would still be in the kitchen today and women would not be enjoying the rights and freedoms they do today. And we wouldn't have the lovely only fans that brings so much joy to a young mans heart ❤ lmao
Picture you upon my knee Just tea for two and two for tea Me for you and you for me alone Nobody near us To see us or hear us No friends or relations On weekend vacations We won't have it known, dear That we own a telephone (oh, I hate telephones) (yeah, me too) Day will break and you'll awake And start to bake a sugar cake For me to take To all the boys to see Oh, we will raise a family A boy for you, a girl for me Oh, can't you see How happy we would be? We will raise a family A boy for you, six little girlies for me Can't you see How happy we would be?
Doris Day❤❤❤😊😊😊, inolvidable
like
Клёво!!
Kind, cultured, handsome, respectful, cozy. This is the aura of the song.... These are the feelings)
Gordon MacRae - wonderful is such an understatement for this man . The dancer was excellent but the choreographer was a disaster.
Tea for two? But there's five people.
NICE!
She drinks Ceylon tea😂❤
He sang about love to the couple, with a sweet voice, playing the piano, he was a great artist, he started before the 50's, tubo muchos exitos; creo bien pudo haber sido la novia de América en los 50's 🥰
Everything I ever wanted in a man!! ❤😊
RIP Gordon MacRae (1921-1986).
Uncle max said something about sex lol
When my great grandparents were alive, this was their song. When my Nana was in the hospital, before she passed away, my great grandpa sang tea for two for her. It was really emotional and it made a lot of people cry, though I wasn’t there while she died, the thought is still sad. My great grandpa lived a few years longer, and he was always depressed. He missed her and he never wanted to do anything other than see her again. He peacefully passed away December 2nd, 2023; a week before my birthday. All he wanted was to see her again. Although I am atheist, I do hope that whatever is out there, whatever happens, that they can reunite again and be happy. They were married for over 75 years. It’s a sad but also beautiful story. And so, on his funeral, instead of everyone being super sad, they celebrated his life, and how long he lived. They were buried next to each other. What they had was so special and I hope I can find a man or woman like that.
A fine story, you share with us! I either don.t know, if there.s heaven or hell, but for people like your grandparents I believe, that there is a place together somewhere!! 👍
My grandparents on both sides were like that..through thick and thin they stayed together. That's how it should be but nowadays it's not so common
Seguro que si Y que tenga también un gran corazón como tu
My mum misses my dad terribly 12 years on. I’m not religious either but I’m convinced we go somewhere where we are the age we were at our happiest. Funny because Mum always dreams as I do of dad in his 40’s. I picture dad in his garden doing his veg, busy preparing for mum and us To arrive. He’s not sad, no concept of time,he’s with friends, family and ancestors gone. He’s at perfect peace enjoying the answers to all the questions we have.
What a wonderful love story
Le donne vestite da donne...che meraviglia.
INOLVIDABLE Y BELLÍSIMA DORIS !!!
She was classy and incredibly beautiful the perfect woman.
This song vs paradise my nat king Cole…
Как природа щедро одарила красавицу! Прекрасный голос!
