Would have been helpful if you would show the copper clip placement. Especially considering the fact that there are no instructions that come with the lights.

Getting that perimeter bezel off was a real PITA. Luckily I didn't break any of the tips. The key is to use a very small flathead and push it from outside inward. Dome lights were a piece of cake. Lights are leaps and bounds brighter than stock.

2 questions. 1: why not just drill from the backside and skip the t20 screw removal? Having both pieces still together will ensure that the holes are aligned for wire routing. 2: does the wire harness disable the OEM lights or are they just shining under the new Meso lights?

One of the small buttons came off the board while removing the inner black plastic piece…now I cant get it soldered back on to the board .

Just installed. Such an improvement over the dim lights that Toyota included. I will say that mine came with clips already on it, unlike the video. Saved some time, so thanks for including those.

I wish you could use the old light covers or if they came with their own covers for the diodes. I hate the cheap look of them being exposed.

Just got a 21' Tacoma, I thought that button layout was so stupid and knew their had to be mod or someone who made a kit. Key indicator that a useless engineer behind a desk designed it and never tested it. Thank you, ordered one today!

Good video BUT I would never use a flat tip screw driver or any other metal tool. Use the right tool for the job. I just don't like scratches on my 4Runner. I use plastic trim tools to avoid scratches and other damage.

Put mine in and bluetooth buttons did nothing and the board on the other side of the steering controls started smoking...24 4runner trd sport. Thoughts?

My airbag screws were a T27 on my 2021 TRD Sport, in case anyone is wondering why they aren't coming out....might have to go a size or two bigger lol. Also, I did it all at the steering wheel and didn't need to cut the zip tie. This was an easy install. Forums reporting color being slightly off and not as bright....but it's a worth while trade off in my opinion!

will this fix an intermittently inoperable volume/track button?

So does this kit replace the lower volume control on the left hand side with a call/end all button? I have a 2016 platinum. And my configuration is completely different.

It’s actually the left side on my 5th generation 2021 SR5 and started to scratch the plastic, doing it on the right side.after seeing these comments and watching it again he’s inside the tail gate so thats why it is opposite

3rd Gen SR trim owner here - I actually had to use a T27, as the T25 was one size too small. 👍🏻

I’m embarrassed to admit that this took me 45 minutes. For time comparison, the puddle pods w/switch & the V5 switchbacks w/DRLs took me 2hrs to install. My rings did not want to come out. I thought it was doing something wrong. I was pulling super hard and they were flexing to the point I was sure they were going to snap but nothing was coming unclipped. I just said f*** it and yanked a few times until they came flying out. The MESO rings dropped right in for an easy install in the end 😂

I don’t see how your back passengers can fit with the Hexrack installed. There’s barely headspace without it.

Just curious...a huge chunk of your business is through selling products that delete chrome in the interior, yet you supply silver hardware to install the Hexrack? Doesn't make sense to me...

For some reason one of my meso lights wont connect in the "ON" position but the others work. Maybe the copper switch got bent or something but otherwise theyre amazing

Just installed mine. Very simple. I wish you had a lens cover, at least on the red, preferably both, to reduce the brightness and for a cleaner look.

Mine didn't come with the dome light hardware :( off to find some.

I’m stoked mine , mine should be here today and then I’ll have the full set installed.
