For some vehicles you can find Torch brand ignition coils. Torch is a large OEM manufacturer of ignition parts in China which are used on GM, Ford, VW, etc vehicles in the Chinese market. They make some decent spark plugs as well.

I know this video is a few years old but did you ever come across any transmission issues?

I looked for one of these big block F150s but they were few and far between ended up with a 2018 2.7 already lifted with wheels tires and dual exhaust and i love my 2.7 been a great truck and tuned its making more power than the 6.2 but i still love the big block 150s its just so freaking cool!!! Awesome video

Unfortunately it's not that easy with the stock headers... The flange is tucked behind the engine bay on both sides your setup is a lot better

If I’m being honest, It sounded like a beast straight pipe, When I get mine that’s the route I’m going, And your video definitely convinced me haha

I would hook a scan tool and look at live data and check my short term and long term fuel and get a cheap fuel pressure gauge from harbor freight and see what you find out

Wanted to buy a second hand 6.2 F150 but has to be extended cab and 6.5ft bed. Very hard configuration to find! Guess I'll be buying a 5.0 when my 5.4 truck is clapped out. Trading torque for mpg, oh well.

So if i dont want any of that ecop and just want a standard good old fashion strong v8 that can go 250k plus thats the one? The 5.0 has that shit that shuts valves off i just want a regular v8 no eco crap.

How do you do this on a ram 1500 2014

UPDATE ON THE COILS PLEASE

You & I replaced the same Duralast Gold battery with the same Walmart battery in my Cobra, the exact same month this year.. I'm not even sure how to explain that other than battery prices have tripled in 5 years(like everything else). I also used to have a 1992 F-150 with the 5.8L until my mid-20's, don't make the mistake I did by selling it for no good reason. I assume you're busy with a newfound job, hope it's going well. Money will come & go every day of your life in this world but those that have faith will always be rich.

New oem look the best. If you have a 90’s muscle car keep it looking that way. I own a 2000 gt and a 2000 SS Camaro. When I bought the Camaro some kid put halo led lights on it. It doesn’t look right on a 25 year old car. Put new oem lights on it

I've got the same problem on my 1995 GT Convertible. The revs hang for 3 to 4 seconds between upshifts before coming back down. New IAC on the way and hopefully will find the plate to fix the problem. Thanks for the info!

There is no way you put that much into it and not be fast. I have comp cams, full bolt ons, aluminum driveshaft, short throw , coil overs, 3.73 gears , tune and my car does 12’s on the 1/4 I spent nowhere near that much… you got ripped on price and probably paid someone to build it

Hey man, I’ve recently acquired a whippled 2v, and I’m looking to spiff up the engine bay. You got any specific first couple things you’d do? I am still searching for some good companies that make hoses and wiring and such

Awesome video. I did it on my 99 gt with the small hole facing the right side right away and 2 gaskets sandwiching the plate and it works amazing, before the rev hang was so annoying but the rpm drops how it should be now and the car also has more engine braking because of it. Something to note is it gave me a CEL Code P1506 which means an issue with the IAC valve no suprise! Obviously nothing to worry about as its just the restrictor plate causing it. It also bumped up my idle to about 1100-1200 rpm and that is on the stock tune. Would highly recomend to anyone with the same issue on these GTs.

Some people be like NooOoO go OEM OnLy!! But sometimes OEM parts are already the worst/same option as the 1/4 cost option. Chances are, that way cheaper part might work better than the repeatedly failing OEM part. This holds true for the hitachi cam sensors on Nissan VQ engines. The knockoffs just work, the OEMs are a repeat failure. You just never know. Now- maf sensors? Yeah, go OEM.

Bought some like these but will only let me connect 2 wires instead of 3 and i can’t get the led bar on?

my 04 gt has been on jacks for soo long, top trans mount bolt is stripped as stripped gets and i have been procrastinating pulling the engine for this one bolt for so long, this is my motivation! thankyou and beautiful car!
