    Great topic Brad. I originally implemented multiple contact record types in my Salesforce (e.g. client and candidate). You're absolutely right about how doing so over-complicates things. I consequently abandoned multiple contact record types after a few months. Also really like your idea on using unemployed pool and candidate pool accounts for contacts who I don't have an account for in my org. For the latter case, how would I deal with naming their employer in the contact record if I don't have that account in my Salesforce? Would I create a non-lookup account name field on the contact record?

      Ideally, if the person is employed and you like that candidate's profile enough to keep track of them, you'd manually assign the contact to the correct account record. When you're assigning them to the new account, Salesforce will give you an opportunity to create a new account if the one you want doesn't already exist.

    Great demo Brad!. This is one of my favorite parts of Asymbl. Two quick questions... 1) Can the stage types be customized? 2) For all of the stages you created after the first one, I noticed you did not select a stage type for them. Is this optional? Thank you.

    • @recruiterbradowens
      @recruiterbradowens หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thank you! The stage types can indeed be customized. However, I'd caution you against making too many changes to them. They are meant to help clean up reporting and adding too many will end up defeating the purpose. Also, yes. The stage types are optional.

    I would love to see how your apps come in from the website. We are currently using a Web2Lead form, but the lead conversion process is a little clunky and I know our recruiters would love to not have to convert leads. Base on your screenshots, it appears it is matching applicants to current contacts and not using the lead object as the first stop. We are also currently trying to solve for automated source tracking, so any tips and tricks related to the application process would be helpful!

    Would love to see an in-house version of this. I am with an early stage healthcare start up with no systems currently in place for ATS/CRM. I used SF at a previous job. It was used by bus dev, recruiting, ops, etc. I want to figure out how to utilize here. Typically, the CRM function sucks in most ATS. In order to ensure recruiting and growth are one and the same, sales and bus dev needs to work with the same data.

      @recruiterbradowens 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'll add it to my list of videos to create! Make sure you're subscribed so you see it. To be brief, an in-house version would look very similar except for the front end process. At one organization, we used standard Salesforce approval processes tied to a job. A hiring manager would first create a new job record. That record would be sent to HR for approval. Once approved, the recruiters would be able to work on the job and collect resumes. All of that can function in Salesforce.

      @@recruiterbradowens Thanks for the clarification! I started a SF sandbox last night and have been setting up to give my CEO a live look at how our’s could function. I’m really curious about how Asymbl fits into the overall experience. Do you all offer a sandbox or trial that can be added onto it? He wants to meet this week and it would be ideal if something can be worked out for that. Let me know if there’s someone I can contact on your team.
