Walkthrough of this year's haunt. As it was the final one at this home (I am moving next year), I poured all my heart and soul into making it awesome. Had over 1200 visitors in October, 13 actors and assistants, and filled several huge storage crates with donations to the local food pantry.

Testing out the animated shed scene. Pumpkin guy is a stand-in for the xenomorph. An actor inside the shed will do jump scare at the climax.

New this year: giant mushrooms, Class of 666 reunion, and vortex tunnel. First time using the shed and doubled the actors from last year, including new experience of me as an actor (Rubbish the Clown).

Good job! But...I see an issue with the cans if it is an outdoor prop. When it rains the cans will fill with rainwater. Just a suggestion, put some holes in the cans for drainage, and while you are back there, put some LED lighting inside for some lighting effect. You can also put some directional LEDs for your ghoul behind it.
Cans definitely have drainage holes. And prop surely has some cool lighting. Check it out! th-cam.com/video/EzIUktZenlQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_lYRjkYu2hJ8EXPo
Is this Indiana?
Lexington MA (Boston suburb)
Insanely gorgeous display!
That doesn't look like a trash can lid.
Love it. What are the those spinning vortex light’s called
Looks great. Love the clown and what he says.
Amazing
Wow, what a display! I can't imagine the hours that went into this. Amazing work.
This is some masterful work!
Gruesomely great!
Pretty freaking cool
Love the Alien theme! One of my all time favorite monsters!
That is creepy as hell with the hanging hook
Hello! I saw your creative Halloween decorations and thought our holiday lights would complement them perfectly. Would you like to try them out?
I love the smileys.😅
We visit every year and I should say it's incredible. Keep up the good work and will see you this year too🧹🪄🧙♀️
If a real ghost ever attacks this dude, I think he''ll just casually tuck the ghost inside some spacial effect cage.
Serious paradolia warning!!
Tbh I thought this video was gonna explain the scientific vortex tunnel effect where you open two doors at two different points in a house and it causes a wind tunnel
How did u make him? He is awesome.
Very charmy and original, great job!
Interesting construction! Dual-movement from a single motor, very creative.
Wonderful movement from a simple, elegant design. Nice.
I would like to see it without the bottle
It's very cool Vlad. I love the effect.
NEAT!
OMG, thats so cool

That's awesome, man!!
Awesome
Fantastic Haunt thanks for sharing !! HFL!!
Vlad, do you have a tutorial on how you made the sliding mechanism?
I thought video showed that well. Are you stuck somewhere?
@vladselsky5427 Not stuck, I guess I was wondering... as far as the drawer slide, can you use any size depending on your prop? I am thinking that I would want my prop to move more forward. Now I am brand new to building props, so I am sorry if I sound nieve... but I am lol. Then I would just have to adjust the length of the metal rods to facilitate for how much distance I want it to travel correct?
The longer the draw slide. the longer the travel, or, throw it will have. Then just play around with the two linkage bars to get the most throw possible. For me anyway, the funnest part of building props is problem solving. Just remember, when the linkage bar that's attached to the motor is 180* away from the draw glide, and the draw glide should be fully collapsed. I hope this isn't too confusing @@chrismalkoski6846
@@stebstebanesier6205 TY for that information.
Nice prop!
Can I ask how you setup the timings on your cannon?
Are you using a PicoBoo and you need help with wiring? If yes, provide me with your email and I can help you out.
Awesome!!!
Just commented on your wicked makers group post. Cool stuff buddy!
This turned out great Vlad! I'm glad you enjoyed the build! Using the textured side of the foam for the body was a brilliant idea!
I made this and you can too. It’s a projection of a green ring video and fog. I’m doing a better version this Halloween. Follow my progress on www.Facebook.com/VladtheImpaler666
What is this exact effect and can I buy it. Think it's great. Thanks please tell me model.
Cool. And great video!
Hi, came here from the other video where you show the mechanism. I was expecting more dramatic movement, however it gave me an idea for making an up&down movement using this mechanism and some pulleys. If possible would you mind sharing the motor information and the circuit for controlling the speed? Regards.
You want to use a 12V 5A windshield wiper motor. Easily found on Amazon or frightprops, frightideas, monsterguts. Similarly check Ebay or above sites for PWM speed controller. Note that many wiper motors can me wired for low or high speed. So before buying the PWM controller, you can assess the two motor speeds. At very low speed, I’ve found the PWM controller to emit some noise.
awesome !
Nice job! What if the garbage can animated prop was connected to the "doorbell" when the kids come to the door for candy (Sign pointing to door bell "Ring for candy")
What’s nice about the trash can is that it blends in well with my other trash containers so kids don’t suspect it. Also I have to be careful that kids keep their safe distance.
@@vladselsky5427 Definitely
I LOVE IT - now i have to subscribe to you - very creative!!!!!
Ditto. Especially since you profiled my fave haunts Salisbury Woods and Haunted Overload.
