This entire section was ass and is only made up by having Vincent there. Idk what they were thinking in building this chapter but this was probably the worse part of the game. The fight only cait was super ass, like that’s the only way to sum it up. My buddy took 20 attempts to beat it and it kinda makes you want to put down the game.

Strange how the game reads it as you having attained the previous relics, even If you didn't get any other protorelics by this point. Lol I guess that's one oversight by SE.. Well now that you know who it is, you NEED to finish the other protorelics haha. It's a worthwhile questline, though it can get very annoying and difficult at times.

When i played Rebirth, it was a very easy game(on Dynamic) until i met Odin. Before i didn't use any debuffs but he taught me very well for 2 hours straight. I think he was the first real challenge for me

Now that you’re at the sidequest chapter, I would recommend doing all the protorelic quests, not just for Gilgamesh, but because they have the most important stories in them, especially in Cosmo Canyon. The last Gilgamesh quest is high level endgame stuff, but you can fight him before the end, if you want a challenge. I waited to do that fight, as well as the treasure hunt until postgame.

I hope Gilgamesh becomes a boss fight in Kingdom Hearts 4.

First of all his name is NANAKI!!! Red Xlll is what HOJO called him when he had him brought to him against his will! Also Nibelheim was only rebuilt to cover up what happened 5 yrs ago when Sephiroth THEIR SOLDIER did there from the public! Furthemore Cloud is remembering Zack ALL WRONG here and Tifa is still not telling him the truth.

Mmmm, in OG I felt that Aerith was particularly weak but you don't spend the most time with her if you don't put her in your party. Tifa on the other hand get's a WHOLE PERSPECTIVE in OG. That said, I think in OG most of the cast is closer to tropes than actual characters with the limited development they had for the cast. Like if I had to sum up who had the most development in order it would be Cloud >= Tifa > Barret >> Aerith(honestly she is only this high because of the backstory stuff you can accidentally skip) > Yuffie(this is wild btw since she's optional) > Cait Sith > Cid > Red XIII > Vincent/Zack. When I compare it to the current cast for developed characters... I think, overall, everyone gets some Lime but the awards for most developed is tied between Cloud/Aerith/Tifa/Barret. At the point of the story here, Tifa is on the back end for sure.

The Cait Sith section is by far the worst section. Everything that throwing boxes solved could have easily been solved by Barret's gun or Aerith's magic

The interaction between Dyne and Barret was mostly cool… didn’t care for the Akira arm. I’m mixed on the unaliving himself aspect… hated Palmer being involved in the last bit… but I guess this is our truck scene?

Happy Thanksgiving! Matt Mercer did a great job as Vincent Valentine.

I played on Normal, and my first death in the game was against the two adjudicators… and I died to them like 5 times… AND I was actually using Cait Sith throughout my playthrough lol.

No one loved throwing boxes as Cait Sith. At best, I only know of people who found it "tolerable." And I HATED playing as Cait Sith in combat here, largely because I didn't really understand how to play as him. Once I DID figure him out, however, he's actually a rather fun and interesting character to play as, and can be pretty powerful even if you ignore his RNG skills.

Yin and Yang, an absolute pain in the ass since ‘97! Should’ve tried throwing a box at him… 😂

I loved Reds area and the story. The scene with Zack tho. All the feels 😢

Good to see CISSNEI again! I ship Aerith & Zack too and Cloud just doesn't remember him because his mind is still so mako fractured right now. Also at that reactor Cloud was really losing his damn mind and nearly got Tifa killed! All I know is he needs some serious help🙄

There are two extra conversations with Tifa and Aerith if you talk to them again after their initial affinity conversation in Nibelheim. If you have a previous save, I recomend you to watch them or a watch video. They are very short but extremely good for how short they are, maybe some of the best in the game and so insightful on how both of them feel.

The thing I like about this Chocobo is the fact that how easy we can navigate in Nibel Region since Cosmo Canyon drove me crazy.

When I worked at GA tech, they were doing a bunch of projects with Segway's so I managed to ride one once. It was certainly an interesting experience.

You didn't play against the ranked players or buy the cards from the previous chapters. Hence, that's why you don't have a lot of strong cards.
