I was 8 years old and attending Saint Joseph's Catholic School in Berkely, CA. when I saw this movie. The Nuns took us to the theater on a school trip to see it when it came out. So, I guess you can say, I was already converted ! I made my "Holy Communion" and my "Confirmation". At one time, I even thought about being a priest.(Don't worry,I didn't do it!) It was and still is a beautiful film done in the grand way those epics were made back then. I still have my religious beliefs, although I don't accept everything as so matter of fact. To me your own Spiritual belief is what counts. NOT what a church, or a Religion,Priest, or Minister may say. Your PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with your creator is what matters ! I still love this kind of film and will always be drawn to them.

Shakespearian in both writing and performance. A minor character always gets the most revealing soliloquy of the primary narrative. There are other examples similar to this in the film. Solid ones. Well writren and performed. But this one... it epitomizes the passage of 99% of human existence.

Gotta love it! Did this "song" as a joke for our band's break song at a club back in the early 70s and it almost caused a fight! (One drunken patron wanted to dance to it but couldn't and got really angry at the band.)

This song has made me giggle for, what...close to 50 years? I had the Archie Bell "Tighten Up" single when I was a kid here in S.E. PA...and when I heard this, I knew my world was really just a page out of MAD Magazine. :D :D :D LOVE IT! But I do agree with some of the other posters...this should have been accompanied by Nazz and Todd photos. I doubt there's any video of this being performed live...if there is, down in some deep archive, I sure would love to see it.

Part Two: It doesn’t… because Washington has forgotten about The Family I THINK that everything we MUST do for the citizens of this country revolves in making the family whole again. The family…parents and their children, MUST be able to spend quality time together. Each Parent shouldn’t HAVE to spend 40 - 60 hours a week WORKING… simply to provide food and shelter for their children and their loved ones. BECAUSE, I believe that MANY issues that face this country can be solved by simply having parents more involved with their families. If, at least one parent can spend more time at home, that time could be used in preparing GOOD meals for their families which would not only help in maintaining the overall health of the family, but would also be more economical as well. AND healthier people spend less time AT a doctor and spend LESS of their money ON a doctor! If one parent can be at home to help with the homework, then children can achieve better educations and be more prepared for higher learning AND jobs that can help them HAVE those BETTER lives AND be BETTER citizens! By having more money and time to spend it, the entire family can have a higher standard of living. This isn’t my last video. I am going to make a few more. If I were elected, my first concern would be restructuring the tax system because we need to do that so that we can have BETTER jobs in this country and BETTER education in this country and BETTER healthcare in this country. Our foreign policies shouldn’t be about protecting special interests. Our foreign policy should be about how we can be a better leader in the World And if our rivers are polluted and the air is unbreathable, we are NOT leaving much for the generations that follow. I will end this video by quoting the motto of the Moravian Church: “In Essentials, Unity; In Non-Essentials, Liberty; and in all things, Love” In other words: In those things, we need to have a good life…things that we ALL need, that are guaranteed to us by the Constitution, our BASIC liberties…in THOSE things we need to be UNITED is seeing that ALL Americans have those freedoms. In those things that one person HAS to have to make their life better, but another does not and it doesn’t infringe on that other person’s freedoms…In THOSE things, let us ALL allow each other the LIBERTY to have or pursue those goals Then, finally, and actually, most IMPORTANTLY… “in all things… LOVE”. You know, “Love your neighbor” or “Do unto others as you would have them do onto you.” Thank you

This was the perfect opening for perhaps the best, the most COMPLETE show I've seen this year. Jidenna played 5 songs and then got off the stage..then European wonder Stromae came on 15 minutes and played 2 hours.

Posted my little video of Shilpa Ray's performance last night at the Aisle 5 club in the Little Five Points neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia, after I couldn't find another video that I thought sufficiently conveyed the passion of her live perfomance. Thoroughly enjoyed her show. If you get a chance to see her, do it. She'll be opening for Man Man the next month or so.

Archie Bell is playing in Austin tonite and of course THIS song came to mind! What a hoot! Thankx for posting fungo bat! This song slays me... My only regret is that you don't have video of the Nazz doing it...anyone out there in cyberspace got some footage?

This song used to crack me up so much back in my high school days that I thought my sides would split. Thank you for this! I haven't been able to find it anywhere except TH-cam, and it made me laugh 'til I cried yet again.
