Unfortunately wireless carplay/AA will never be added via ota updates. But there's plenty of aftermarket dongles to add that. Once the ioniq 6 gets a design refresh with the ccnc infotainment system, it'll finally get wireless.

Fyi the ioniq 5 also has active aero

I have this vehicle and I get way less than 300 miles of range. The base model or even the middle would be better for long range. I’m rather upset about my purchase.

Suggestion. Only put cars on the list you have actual experience driving or have reviewed. Saying well 500e is bad because of short range is a bit misleading.. Same for Vinfast “its bad” RZ might not be perfect but its built really well and owners love them. Americans are so hung up on range… Not everyone wants a Tesla either and Not everyone travels 500miles. The US and Canadian EV market is so lousy it hurts me as someone who spends lots of time in Europe.

Oh boy, now Tesla owners will start hating seeing Bolts at the crowded chargers, knowing that they will be there slow charging for ever!

I have a 2022 i5 LTD AWD. 23,000 miles. I drive very conservatively, use Eco mode and Auto regen. I always L3 charge my car. My range has been 280 to 300 miles as long as the outside temp stays between 45 degrees and 80 degrees. The lowest I have seen is 260 when the temp drops to below freezing and stays there..

A couple of things: 1. Buying a Tesla in 2024 is an act of absolute moral depravity 2. I am literally buying a Black 2wd Hyundai RWD from Crain Hyundai as we speak. The transporter should be picking it up just about now to ship it to me. Is this my car?

the 62KWh Nissan Leaf is the absolute best deal EV in the UK right now with the discounts you're getting, it's between the leaf, MG and BYD - it's also good for British weather which is coolish, dark and wet, but oceanic and mild

Cant live without CarPlay

The pull in the back is not for the door charger, is if the charger gets stuck as an emergency only you can pull it

I love the style and looking for alternatives to a Tesla but we have a ‘25 model 3 and just get disappointed with everything else I’ve looked at. 🤷🏼‍♂️. Especially the prices of the Tesla competitors seems high for less tech.

Great review guys - the pluses you mentioned are the things that sold me on this car. I was originally looking at the Kona but got an amazing deal to lease the I5. Pretty sure i won't be able to downgrade to the Kona in 2 years!

Problem * 12v drainage * ICCU recall for 2 years ...even more * Rattling from trunk * Alignment from wheels issues * Charging door deforming due heat sun * Squeeking sound from here and there during the winter (driver seet) * Battery protection under the car not that good * Front battery trap getting stuck during winter All this would not be that bad if we had good services from hyundai

Gravity only gets @3.6-3.7 miles. It is still good for a vehicle of that size. The Air Pure gets 5 miles per kW.

Sold an EV6 about a year ago and we are impressed with its ride quality

Wait a minute - the 2024 refresh was supposed to include wireless CarPlay. I must say, I like the new steering wheel, but it’s. Or enough to make me consider giving up my 23 Deep Forest green with tan interior. Overall, it’s a great car. Smooth driving experience, Good safety features, we basically let the car drive itself in stop&go traffic
