Solving equations using the Quadratic Formula
nice but please change the background, I can't watch it like that
0:16 whatever that was, it sounded beautiful 💀
You said you would explain partial derivatives not multivariable functions, 42 seconds is too long it can be explained in like 5 seconds
I played this at x2 speed so learned partial derivatives in 21 seconds. I’m gonna sue for false advertising.
Lmao love how everyone is angry about the delta hahaha
What about the gradients of parametrized surface
good vid but maybe tone down the background changing so fast
I am taking Calc 1 rn so forgive my inexperience, but do you use this to find maximums of a 3d function?
Damn why is everyone so hateful this was nice explanation and the symbols do not matter if it was a mistake and people know what you are talking about.
Why the hell are you using \delta for the partial derivatives in the video, but the right ones in the thumbnail
Clear and straight to the point. That's how I want to learn. Thank you so much!
a lot simpler than the fancy symbols makes it look
Well yes, but not really. Partial derivatives open the door for more advanced topics in calculus such as multivariable calculus or calculus of variations, the latter if which teaches you to never get your partial and total derivatives confused (learnt that from experience 😅)
0:17 what happened here
partial doovuvu with respect to x
I really enjoy how you summarize it, like it's not too long and includes the most important stuff
Note that df/dx is dependent on the change in x (if that isn’t obvious, look at the formal definition of a partial derivative), so it is a non-zero value. This knowledge is useful in implicit differentiation with partial derivatives, as it becomes clear which terms are zero (implicit differentiation = take derivative on both sides; from there, use chain rule. Also recall that the product rule applies to any changing functions-even if they aren’t in terms of the same variable.) Hope this was useful to someone! It’s cool to see how the different concepts build off each other :)
used delta instead of cursive d award
That is not the same
don't EVER use lowercase delta instead of del again
Ur not creator of math
@@ThemathfictionaltimelineNo, but I am, and I have the same message.
@@troutsofinsanity delta caps is change, delta small is change based on another variable, THEY ARE NOT SAME AND YOU ARE NOT A CREATOR OF MATH YOU stupid kid who is such a fool
It is I, the creator of the creator of Math, leaving this message during my 32 year long quest to get milk and cigarettes. And I say, use whatever the hack you like as long as the context is explained for maximum comprehension. Who needs immediate clarity and efficiency, anyways?
We'll information good show 😅😅
Great video
SO USEFULL THANKS SO MUCH!!!
Couldve maybe spent an extra 5 seconds to show that final vector field in a plot as a vector field over the original funtion maybe
ok, this make so much more sense than how I was taught.
I can only assume you used the wrong symbol on purpose
Yes, my bad there was a bit of an error when using latex to include the equations into the video and I forgot to use /partial symbol instead. Sorry for any confusion!
This is probably how students majoring in math lose their virginities
maybe 🤣
I don’t get it 😂
?
@@FishSticker its because they get fucked by this
