I fear we are nearing the end of TF2 as a whole (major updates wise/lore advances anyway) So long as they never abandon bug fixing updates as well as Smissmas and full moon events like Scream Fortress, I am happy with there not being any more major updates. A bittersweet end to what is arguably the best team based shooter in history. My only regret is not getting my PC earlier on in life and playing the game in its golden years.

Is this a straight up downgrade?

Thanks for the guide, but I wish you would have stated that Metamod and Sourcemod need to use the unstable dev versions and not the stable versions (I guess because a TF2 update likely broke the stable versions, which are a year old). I spent the last 3 hours trying to figure out why nothing was working. Edit: Also in case it's still not working for you. TF2 was updated to default to the 64 bit version. As of December 2024 Rcbots is only 32 bit compatible. It's pretty easy to revert to the 32 bit version of TF2 though. Just put the 64 bit exe somewhere else and rename TF.exe to TF_win64.exe. If you are using the unstable branch of Metamod and Sourcemod and have replaced the 64 bit exe of TF2 to the 32 bit version, then it should work. Type rcbots into the dev console once you've loaded a map to see a list of commands.

I already knew about this. Generally it's useful in 2fort if you want to rack up mini sentry kills

I don't think this is a bug as it seems to be intentionally programmed that way a few times in code relating to sentries. It's based on it and its target entity water level.

this is not really a bug, it's just the way sentries work. they cannot see through water, it's like there is a wall in the way. the sentry doesn't know water is transparent. it's just another solid brush to it. it works the other way around as well. if u are submerged while the sentry is above land then u are basically invisible to it
