Quick note to your viewers, never ever ever tighten the top bolts of the strut as you are preloading them completely wrong. Those volts do not get tightened and torqued until you have put the wheel on and place the vehicle on the ground. And next time remove your tie rod end, and please never make another video like this until you know what you're doing

For connectors that wont connect use the ziptie clip on trick! Slide into the area where it should clip pull till you hear the clipping sound..

Thanks so much!! A shop wanted to charge $600 for the job which included the needed alignment. I did both my front ball joints, with the assistance of my more mechanically inclined brother and his tools, for just $80 total for thr parts((And buying him a couple beers as gratitude lol)) THEN i took it to the shop after that for the alignment which ran about $120. Much better than spending over $600!

I'm in Oregon but yeah same, I see S30's, S130's, Z32's and there's always lots of 350z's but I don't know anyone in my town with a Z31. I know they're out there but there's almost none in the local community outside of pick n pulls and even that's a rarity these days

Hey bro, sucks to see anyone feeling sad or defeated like this. Just wanted to say sometimes its easy to get a little too focused on what you love and believe in, and if/when that situation worsens enough, your whole existence doesn't seem adequate. I know entirely what you're going through. Lots of us do. But the truth is you need to take care of yourself first, and you'd be amazed what falls into place after you've shown yourself the love you deserve. Try new things, branch out, learn more about who you are and what you want to do. Make memories and make mistakes, learn from them and do what makes you feel happy. Especially beyond the world of cars. Generate a support system of nothing but people that will always put you up but still tell you when you're wrong. Diversify your hobbies and perhaps take your knack for mechanical stuff beyond your usual comfort zone. You will try and you will fail. We all go through it. But eventually, you'll find the time, and you'll find something or even multiple things that stick. When you find 'it', it will support you, your family and your hobbies. Will it be something automotive? No telling. But, you've got way better chances treating yourself right first. Open as many doors as possible that you can handle. Lastly, There's nothing wrong at all with taking a break, and your upload history suggests that you've at least earned one. Cheers dude, and I hope you find what you're looking for.

A lot of this sounds like my inner monologue when I feel hopeless. I can relate. It's easy to feel down in times like these. Economy sucks (I cant afford rent in my area ayoo!). Global conflict has me very depressed in humans. Short winter days make time seem so slim. You aren't lousy for having to deal with life's obstacles. There are a bunch for most people right now. Sometimes the love for my passions seems to dwindle and it can be frightening because the drive and excitement for those passions is one of the best feelings I experience in life. But that doesn't mean it can't get ramped back up. Sometimes its just a little break and that urge will come back like a train. Sometimes a new inspiration kicks it back up. If you feel like youtube hinders your personal passion work on cars by all means hone in on that passion further and take a break. Whenever you finish your next project and feel like sharing. Please do! Everything has its ebbs and flows, but you never technically fail if you never stop trying or progressing. I hope things turn around for you in a brighter light no matter the path you chose! This showed up at the top of my homepage btw, so you've at least put yourself in a nice spot in the algortithm haha.

Is that new strut a Monroe economatic roadmaster.....or part #181615.....because I have the Monroe 171615 on my 2001 ford taurus and I had a hard time getting them on my car....I bought a set...I put the 2 on the front....it did not go on that easy....I had the motorcraft original struts on the car at first and the ride was about the same....I just wasted $700..the 171615 Monroe struts were a little longer than the Motorcraft oem struts. I should have left them on my car.
