Back at Laguna 2 weeks later to get some more seat time in the new to me M3. Made some adjustments since last time, mainly ride height, front sway bar setting and re-bled the brakes. Took another second off my fastest lap with 1:40.12. Car has a bit more time in it, I just need to keep driving. Sadly don't have a ton of confidence in the brakes still and need to keep at it.
I'll add, the extremely minimal controlled sliding in this video got me black flagged multiple times. Same as last time. It appears Laguna has become super sensitive to this driving on track. Really frustrating.

Got roped into buying a Tag 125cc thanks to a buddy. Great practice for car control at such a low consumable cost. Here's the first time piloting my new Kart at Sonoma Karting Center. Most of the description is in the video. Essentially slept on the start, put two wheels off and stalled the car. Chased my way back through the Gen 2 field, and made a T6 pass on the last lap to take the win! 3rd SCCA race ever for me, and plenty of excitement! Big thanks again for Matt Belter letting me drive his car! I have just purchased my own SRF to start prepping for next season!

Finally got to take the Supra to Thunderhill East Bypass Config! Morning was a wet track, so I started on the stock MPSS.     took me 3-4 hours, but I only had jack stands 18inches off the ground and not a lift where I can stand under it

    Nice, I just got done doing a clutch and throwout bearing, and pivot fork in my garage. No lift, used 22" jack stands. Exhaust, drive shaft...its all gotta go...yay

      The Radiator is great, but I've had quite a lot of issues with the oil cooler and can't say I've been super impressed with their service. Sadly its one of only good options for this car/setup but man do you pay for it.

      Hey! It’s a 30mm twelve point socket in 1/2 drive, with a 1/2-3/8 adapter as a “plug”. Happens to be the perfect size to fit in the output shaft seal without damaging it and allows the transmission removal without fluid loss.

      Right on, you will have a great time out there this week! No tips really, they have it structured so well, and you should get plenty of seat time in the car. Best advice is to relax and enjoy. They will throw a lot of info at you in a short amount of time, and the instructors really have a wealth of experience that is worth absorbing.

    Really interesting, so at this point you didn't have coilovers on, just tbe eibach spring? How did the stock damper handle that, also any code on the dash? Been thinking getting spring since I can't afford JRZ pro

      Stock dampers had no problems with the springs. No error lights when installed correctly. Ended up going cheap Megan coilovers for wheel fitment and camber adjustment. Decently happy with them so far. Also raised the car up a little bit.

    300whp 2700lbs vs 360?whp 2900lb I thought you would be a bit closer matched in the straights. definitely looks like you were catching him in some corners but he just pulled in the straights. great driving as usual!

      Eh, theres a lot of other factors, but 60whp is a lot too. He's able to get on the power sooner, and has less aero drag. The GT4 makes a bit more torque as well.

      Thanks! The car is actually still on stock sway bars. The absolute best for this platform is going to be the Karcepts bar. Extremely adjustable and can be run at stock stiffness as well.

    I'm confused because I thought you had to remove the shift linkage by removing the center console and also, I never saw you drain the transmission fluid??

      Nothing in the interior needs to be removed when done this way. I put a plug in the back of the transmission so there is not fluid loss.

    Curious to see how much power this car makes! I have a 2017 BRZ with the JDL 4-2-1 (tri-y) header, and have been looking into Harrop for an FI solution.

      This car makes 302whp on 100 octane with the 95mm (8psi) pulley. It made 270whp on just 91oct with the same setup.
