Thank you Tara. All well and clearly said and resognating. In my.case recognizing my shadow sides is not theost difficult side. Surely I might still have shadows that i do not realize, yet the issue for me is overcoming one particular shadow side. I stopped trying to understand the roots of my trigger. I stopped trying to overcome it. As long as I am aware that this may be the last trigger or shadow, I am keen to integrate and give light to it.Ps: I love the snowy background😍

As a psychology professor for 25 years, I assigned this video series to literally thousands of students. A gentle wake up nudge.

Imagine if we all turned off the tv (I don't watch it), the news (not much of that), and INTERNET...how fast things would return to a better normal we ever had.

As a hedge witch, I never thought I'd be interested in any form of divination back when I started out. It's amazing how you get more curious the more you practise and walk the path. I've only been reading tarot for a year at yule, so, less than a novice in real terms compared to a great many. My younger sister bought me The witch's complete guide to Tarot, by Patti Wigington It's a fab book I do still refer to It. It's a chance to work In that liminal space between were we are and were we are going. As you say, with the right mindset, they can offer us the chance to reroute or refocus not just In our practise, but in the mundane day to day to. If I could get rid of one card out the deck It would be the 5 of pentacles lol

I went from searching for the gypsy at Seattles pikes place market to having access daily right at home. lol thanks so much! one day I will learn but for now I use Oracle cards for guidance. Hey Tara..I will be watching this tomorrow but i could not help myself but comment the title: today as soon as I tuned into TH-cam seeing some videos i have received through those videos some answers that i was answered by the Universe through other means...and this is the third video that is the case. Two days ago, a friend of mine that lives in my home land,( she is an astrologer and a reiki master and a omeapotic healer) told me the same thing around tarot by looking at a specific point in my astrology chart, after a question I have asked her. She then suggested me to learn tarot to enhance my intuition and to deepen my self knowledge. As you may have realised I love tarot, but to get a reading from a trusted reader (as by you) every now and then..I have Oracle cards for guidance,but i decided to not to get me tarot cards. Do not know why. Himm, maybe I should😅💜🌠

As a college student l did a psychoanalysis of Freud based on the statements of those who knew him best, also by using his own quotes and the analysis of his work. In short, he was a nut! How apropos that he became the head kook and hero of every weird ideology we see today. My psych professor gave me an A+ and asked if she could keep my paper as an example to other students, to which l agreed. It was a good experience. “Education” as a whole has not been beneficial to society but rather has convinced those with a framed paper on the wall that the person full of common sense is simply common. A sad turn for humanity.

All Adam Curtis documentary's are brilliant. I worked in marketing many years and I think the Century of the Self reflects a lot of what has been happening since Ed Barneys, but now the targets are individuals not large groups, and influenceses politics at an atomic level. Just listen to Brittany Kaiser that worked for Cambridge Analítica.

This is one of the most interesting and insightful documentaries Ive seen. I recommended it to my parents (both in there mid 70's) and they found it very hard to watch. I think its hits a nerve with baby boomers in a visceral way than other generations perhaps. Anyway, like you said, its explains a lot about how we have arrived in the situation we are in today.

Thank you Tara. This is a very useful,interesting insight. I did not know all these aspects around Freud's work. Psychology, to my humble view, is a very interesting and yet a bit dangerous "tool". I always thought so. Oh yes, we all know marketers and politics use psychology and sociology to manipulate the masses. One of the reasons Why i do not have a tv or streaming platforms. Thank, as soon as i have some time i will watch it🎉. I wonder if there is a written version of this documentary?I would love to read it if there is any.❤

Love documentaries! My husband went to graphic art school for branding. He said they were thought the phycology of branding and how the brain sees colors and shapes. It’s interesting knowing how things became how they are now. I feel it’s so easy to see. Thanks for the recommendation 💚
