Thankful that there's a movie review series that's rooted in black culture and hosted by critics who REALLY know what they're talking about. Can't get enough of what you fellas are doin with this channel. Love this episode, big kudos on this one. Keep up the great work. Aaaight I'll stop geekin' out now.
Ooooh snap, y'all select great movies to review. Lookin' sharp, CJ!!! Really looking forward to listening to your takes on this film later in the evening!!!
Great conversation and discussed with a whole lot of tact and respect. Tip of the hat to you, fellas, keep up the great work!
Thank YOU for watching and listening.
This was another great review, love the takes here. Also glad you hesitated on saying "super predator" haha that's absolutely something that would happen to me. LOVING your channel and every review has me going back to watch clips or the full movie. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for listening. You know it's hard to slow yourself down when the convo is good.
Great pod! Enjoyed this convo, subscribed for more of your content. I'll roll with Predator/Terminator over Rambo/Rocky. Lookin' forward to watching more!
Either way, you're in for 80s classic movie making.
47 not 37 or 77 😂

I think I went to high school with the dude w/no hat on. HHS ‘96. Commando is one of the best
It really is. Thanks for watching and commenting. We really appreciate it.
“March 21st…you know what it is..”😂😂😂
Hahahahaha
Is that dre
LMFAO
Interested in the commentary for all the Purge movies. Cause I loved the series (2018-2019).
People REALLY love these movies. The delve deep into the human psyche in a crisis situation.
I wouldn't last long in the purge all I have are a machete with a serrated saw edge, compound bow and a cool ass wizard stick.
Sometimes the best offense is a good defense. Maybe the move is a panic room.
👍
Lewis Tan is not in the acolyte, that's Manny Jacinto. Other than that interesting conversation
Thanks for listening and thank you for the clarification.
Straight up thought your homie was locked up and this was his one phone call
Thoroughly enjoyed your discussion. I loved the movie. It is a rare gem nowadays. Thanks for reviewing it, guys.
Thanks for listening.
You know who can’t stand all these remakes……..Me 🙋🏾♂️. Make something new movie industry. Stop being cautious and relying on an existing fan base to carry your budget
Production companies are less and less likely to take risks for fear of losing money. The industry slowed down for almost half a year and companies feel like they need "sure things". Sometimes, nostalgia will give them that.
It's a movie that I'll never get sick of watching 👌
It really is a modern classic.
Everything about that scene is great except her calling him an abomination. He has a fully formed sense of self before going through the agony and there is no reason to believe he is being controlled by one of his ancestors.
I think she was really commenting on the realization that she can't control him and now, he has surpassed her.
I feel like a South Park character when I hit the reverend mother voice lmao. You hit it perfect
Thanks. It's my favorite scene in the movie.
Bruh y’all are so mf goofy just say you hate women and be done with it at least then I’d have a minuscule amount of respect for you being honest
Not usurp. They control behind the scenes. They wanted to seat someone under their control on the throne. They wanted someone they control in power on arakis.
The show on Max should be very interesting.
Love them all and I played all the games
They were a lot of fun.
You guys are so intelligent! I've never heard of this podcast but I've loved this and taken so much away, thanks a lot guys ☺️
Thank you for taking the time to listen. Please continue to listen and we'll keep getting better.
Saw an online theory that claimed Resurrections was intentionally terrible to sabotage the possibility of a sequel. Only thing that makes sense because that movie was god-awful.
I've read that too. Apparently they decided to move on with a reboot anyway. Hopefully, it's good.
Give it the Highlander 2 treatment and pretend they don't exist.
It's not a bad idea.
Not based on what they already did.
Exactly.
I always wondered who's idea it was to cast a 60 years old man to play HAN , why couldn't the director or producer got someone younger to play this villain.
I think they were shooting for a juxtaposition to Bruce. Plus, he was pretty dangerous once he switched out that metal hand.
Had Malcolm Lived, you would have seen more families in northern/east/ Midwest cities be raised as Muslims. There also would have been black Muslim communities that are thriving and they would have held power in the US. Malcolm’s presence and guidance would hindered a lot of things the government did in our communities. So the climate would be different, killing Malcolm, the Panthers, and infiltrating gangs while giving out cocaine in the 80’s all were things that disrupted black unity and growth. Black Messiah 💪🏾
Malcolm was easily one of the most important people of this century.
who killed Malcom?
The Netflix documentary gives a pretty interesting answer to that question.
At all facts
I'm sorry I have to disagree Malcolm x left the blueprint when he changed his name he left it better blueprint we have the blueprint it didn't work we failed
That's an interesting point. The Netflix documentary, Who Killed Malcolm X suggests the same.
Malcolm told you the white liberal is your enemy yet you still vote for them.
Which is exactly why he's dead. May he rest in peace. Just like KS. They can't have men waking up.
We always, wrongly, assume that these ppl would not have changed their own minds or evolved over time...
Malcolm was constantly evolving.
Yes!
Malcom x was Muslim may Allah grant him heaven what are you all brother's following
