This is mediocre at best. GO beck to the 80's Army... we had kick-ass cadence back then. This more like lukewarm tea, than a real cup of kick-ass.

Former Army SSG here and I loved calling cadence. My claim to fame is calling cadence for 5 miles straight at Barton Field on former Fort Gordon

Whose are these untrained soldiers? Their cadence is pitiful. If we did such a bad cadence, the commanders would order us to "lie down" on the ground, then "straighten up" until we could no longer breathe. And what does this careless outfit mean, without a tight belt and without combat equipment? This is a walk, not an instruction! We only did that on one occasion: when we went to dinner.

I joined in the mid-late 80's. Cadences were insane. When tired and worn out, could wake you up. They had you wanting ti fight when there was no war. Lol. I would love to hear Hard Work!

I was in Santa Barbara High School ROTC 1959 - 1962. Attained the rank of Battalion Commander. Marching and singing cadences were very effective tools for turning kids into robots for fighting mindless wars. The comments below demonstrate my point.

These were nice to see/hear. That said, there is something about doing these in the rain, snow, early morning, middle of the night, fog, etc. When fatigue is multiplying your personal gravity and you're asking yourself why.

@4:00 that mark-time march was horrible. You had 3 or 4 troops who's feet didn't leave the ground. Lots of them were out of step. Y'all get it together. Have some pride. This isn't rocket science. Marching in time and in step is the most basic of functions in the line.
