Great videos and photos

I left on Saturday at 1315 and there had been over 500 arrivals by then. I went to the last LAA rally at Leicester in 1981 and in 1980. Much more space for parking and walking than Sywell had or Popham has. My 13th LAA. Most of us have done at least 20 LAAs.

I went there and saw the spitfire and auster land, so far this event is great, Will be there over the weekend apart from sunday

Red airforce markings on a Spitfire just seems wrong. I know that some Spits served in the USSR, but not loved so much as she was here.

Anyway my daddy told me how they used cartridges explosive cartridges Johnston aircraft Chickering come over I guess the English were a big fan of this concept they also use them when they didn't have a auxiliary power unit on the ground

This is what I thought, this was a museum down in cornwall. They didnt want to go, they have the community and private investers. Just the council fell very short, very bloody short. These jets were being showcased for sale, not a nice moment for all the volunteers.
