We are Adrain and Tiara, co- founders of A Good Thing LLC. We are high school besties that have grown together, and support one another in life and in our marriages.
We started A Good Thing because we wanted to be able to bring great resources to couples seeking tools they need to sustain a healthy relationship. From marriage counseling, financial advisors, babysitters, date night suggestions and even travel agents.

We hosted our first Thanksgiving at our home. It went well but I don’t know if we’ll do that again.

Omg!!!! I don’t like washing dishes. I grew up with a dishwasher and my mom still would force us to hand wash our dishes. I do clean as I cook. Because the clean up afterwards is overwhelming. The kids are pretty good at cleaning as a team but the oldest is starting to feel like she doesn’t have to clean up after herself. Cleaning is definitely a big deal to keep up in the house. I also don’t like the feeling of food chunks and moving through my fingers 🤢. Just grotesque!

It’s definitely true that you never stop learning your partner/spouse whenever in a relationship. If you don’t notice a change then something is wrong. Being routine is ok but routine and interested in your spouse is another thing. I’m just grateful to have someone that is willing to help with a solution to things in case something happens that we need to work on.

Safe spaces was not something I was used to practicing before I met my husband. But once I felt safe enough in our relationship. I’m learning to becoming better at making sure he feels comfortable enough to share his thoughts and feelings with me. We’ve always had wonderful conversations and we are still learning about ourselves. We’re not perfect but we get each other.
South Beach Miami water is clear. Really beautiful and definitely not super expensive to travel and stay there.
Vacation time for the grownups is important. I can’t wait for hubby and myself to take a trip alone again.
It really is much needed time! We love the babies, but a cute little trip allows for reconnecting.

Yeah, the smell of chicken was my food aversion with my daughter. With my son I would forget to eat sometimes so I had to force myself to eat because I would get dizzy.
Yes! PPD is real! I had PPA with my daughter. My husband thought because I was 7 months postpartum I should be over it. He was wrong 😑 and felt bad after he learned that it can last even longer if you have multiple pregnancies back to back.

There really should be! Being a stay at home parent isn't as easy as people make it out to be. It's a 24/7 job!
