I had completely forgotten how rush hour feels in a big city. I will however repeat myself, - very happy to see respectful and considerate drivers towards each other, and especially - towards motorcyclists. Ride safe.

Those pops awakened my inner child for some reason. A beautiful white M135 BMW. Sadly, the audio does not translate that well in the video. Ride safe.

So I've splurged on a new Vance & Hines slip-on. Money well spent. This is what the Rebel really needed, - a mouthwatering exhaust note. Filmed on an iPhone, and I notice it adjusts its sound level rather drastically, to the point where V&H appears to be quieter. Make no mistake, - it is way louder than the stock pipe.

A quick ride to fill up with petrol. It was rather windy today. Even the wind from my nose was windy. The reviews were right though - the bike is fantastic. Absolutely fantastic.

The Vance sounds quieter because your iPhone is protecting itself from the loud noises so it reduces the sound recorded a little
I don't like the curve of the VH exhaust It would be better to be more horizontal Does the water gather inside it after rain ?
There is another version of it that doesn't sweep up made for the touring model or aftermarket saddlebag set up. It fits on either model 1100. It goes far back though, which I think looks a bit goofy without saddlebags
First one is a lot better. Looks 100 times nicer too. Which one is that?

That pipe is so damn huge. My brother has an old 250cc rebel which has an even larger exhaust but we removed it for better sound and yes there are no new exhaust replacements in our country. Anyways nice bike man :) .
I'm about the to buy the Honda Rebel 1100 as well. But was wondering if its comfortable on long (2hours) trips
Congrats, I’m sure you’ll love it. Its quite sporty if I’m being honest, - but never a problem for a longer trip.

How many horsepower gain was there? Did you need to have the computer reflashed ?
Louder = obviously faster, no? : ) not sure, it does not feel like it lacks power in any kind of way. also, did not do anything with the ECU.
