Gathering Basket Homestead
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 10 ธ.ค. 2021
Two homesteaders in Maine living in an old cabin, with an eighteenth century theme. We do gardening in the summer, and sew, spin, weave, and cook during winter months.
We are ‘mostly’ off grid, using a wood stove for heating and cooking, a hand well pump, and four small solar panels for the little electricity we use. In other words, we live very minimally.

Holt’s Apiary in Saint Albans Maine. It’s great! They also have honey.
What was that tool you were using to cut the bread? Did it have a razor on it?
Yep, a razor. They call it a lamb.
I have to admit I have never tried leaks😔 I honestly believe it’s because it wasn’t cooked in our family growing up. So I don’t know what to do with it. So now I will try it thanks to your video 😊

I love Indiana tavernstyle pizza ( thin crust) the crazy change is ground vs sliced pepperoni. The cheaper places used a tomato paste sauce but i like a Chicago thick sause with whole tomatos in it.
