The Butterfinger today is different than the Butterfinger of 40 years ago.

Old, old stock footage. Narrator talks about Butterfingers but shows Clark bars. Nestlé does not make Butterfingers anymore or any of their iconic chocolate bars. Nestlé sold all their candy bars to Ferraro in 2018. I used to work for them. None of the bars taste the same or as good anymore. It’s difficult to even say crunch bars without saying Nestlé Crunch.

What a pointless marketing video pretending to be informative. Shame on these companies for tricking users into watching their sales pitch.

Kudos on paying homage to the Clark Bar. The Clark Candy Co was a small but successful candy company in Pittsburgh, PA. Nestle copied the recipe (with miniscule alterations) and, having a much larger advertising budget, were able to move their version, the Butterfinger, to its place in snack history. At the end of the day, this is just another example of a large corporation stealing & profiting from the labor and innovation of a smaller one.

You've got people eating burgers that aren't quarter pounders, delivery drivers in vans without chillers, cooking over a flame grill instead of a flat top clam shell grill, putting burgers together that aren't quarter pounders, etc. Literally nothing matches the product.
