Once I completed my MOC, all of the articles and my data are no longer available. It seems to me that if a diplomate wants to go back and re-review an article, or continue to work on articles after one has completed the requisite number of articles, that this should remain available. This is after all a maintenance of certification and should allow diplomates continued access to the articles. We did pay for them. Thanks for considering updating this process which will benefit both diplomates and their patients.

Not sure why we are subject to constant changing of the website? The old one worked just fine. It does not help us to become better physicians or take better care of our patients, but instead takes our time away from our practice. Of course it "helps" IT people to support and secure their jobs....

Why was it necessary to change the website and everything about how we were completing articles? It was fine before. This is just a new thing to have to navigate and try to understand. Did ABOG waste a bunch of money on creating a "new and better" website? Honestly, I don't know what was wrong with the old one. It worked just fine. Am I the only doctor annoyed by this?

Great idea! I am looking forward to being able to share these lists (worth their weight in gold) for students and residents. They represent some of the best thinking of the best thinkers in our specialty about what key articles are the most important for practitioners in our specialty to know and understand. The only negative has nothing to do with the portal, but with the questions, which too often focus on trivia rather than meat. I love the idea that has been fairly common of linking the articles and editorials - usually in the same issue, to question conclusions of the synthesis of these data. A definite "acceptance" rate makes administration easy but encourages "trivial pursuit" and discourages the use of highly discriminatory questions between those who "got it" from those who need more exploration and explication of the topic. I know from experience that good questions are hard to devise. I was always proud of the fact that my question sets had the highest performance in correlation with students' overall performance in our teaching committee. It would be helpful to provide the question authors with the correlation values of their questions with our overall performance in the year, and with the answer scores of those recognized board certified experts whose articles are included in the past 5 years to help them self-regulate their questions. An "F" in feedback would go down hard, IMHO. Assumptions: Everyone - including question contributors - wants to do their best. "Best" is always modified by review. Corrective action in inherent in medical educational review. Better performance in practice is associated with better review of the relevant literature. Review of performance is even more important for questioners than for individual practitioners. These hypotheses are all, to some extent supported by data. e.g.: link.springer.com/article/10.1023/A:1021112514626 Whoever put the new web site together was excellent at breaking down the problem and helping us with a clear path through the maze.

I object to being made to watch videos in order to gain information.
