Why not build a frame on top of the cab for the bed ! 4 feet for the rear & drop rear door or a door storage EV bike & storage! ! No windows or doors stealth enter now thru the rear door or thru the cab! You gained 4 ft with the bed on top of the cab & now it air dynamic Aldo Good luck & a great job you done!

The only things I think I would’ve done differently is I would’ve put the water tanks over the axle and I would put access to the roof via inside the van

The Ford E-450 chassis has too limited payload capacity, an Ford F-550/F-600 chassis would be a much better platform to build on.

This is exactly the build I would love ! From drive train to the walkthrough box, what a perfect platform and you absolutely did it out of the park, I have built my own 2 rigs and 2 sailboats and have researched 100's of builds and this definably top ten !

After looking at vans and tiny houses I realised quickly a van is to small and a tiny house needs land so a box truck is the perfect compomise for full time living and the best value for money platform if your smart about it. Way easier to build out and way more options because you can use regular house products in most cases and the extra roof space means a practical amount of solar so I find it a crazy choice to put fake lawn on the roof instead.
