A Do-it-yourself approach to Mercedes R107 and Porsche 993. Lighting is bad, bad editing and mistakes are made but if I can save just one person from breaking a plastic clip it will all be worth it.

Porsche 993 In Car Oil Cooler Relay Testing
Car was getting high in Temperature in traffic. Tested the relay using the Aircon relay as a reference. Found the oil cooler relay to be faulty

Revs were hanging after I engaged the clutch. Acceleration/Revs from 4K to 6.5K was not linear. Felt like I could feel something pulling at the car. Like someone hanging onto your shirt while you ran.

Mysterious bump from the rear led to the discovery of a damaged rear CoilOver. Vids a bit rough but hopefully its got a few gems in it for some people out there

A/C and il cooler fans have a resistor that lowers the voltage and allows low speed operation. These fail and only allow high speed operation putting stress on the oil and AC units as they heat up

Front bumper had to come off for missing front grille and gasket realignment. Looked like maybe front end had bottomed out and broke a few plastic clips which I think caused front grille to be left off by previous owners. Once again Spielberg would be proud......

Replaced Mph face plate with a Km/h version. Driving experience is so much better.

Want to clean the interior of the car so taking out the center console for easier access. Not the greatest video but it gets the job done.....

Its a reversable hack to make the spoiler manual only. Prefer the "no spoiler" lines. Idea from @Rennthusiast

Why not just replace the speaker? I have the same colour interior. Thanks for posting
@co2588 no reason, especially if you can find an oem look. Nice to repair myself, learn about the car and cost about $20 from memory, excluding time.

LOL. Kids, ......WIFE!!!!!!............, late at night. I hope the Vids help a little. I'm not very professional but I'm not trying to build a channel, just hopefully help the odd person.
Can you tell me what that heater hose is that's detached? Mine is just hanging there behind the glove box (left hand drive)
Which hose?. Send a picture or help me identify what you mean....
Most of the 993 parts will last forever, but the speaker grills are ridiculously fragile. I’ve cracked both of the ones on the rear shelf. I applaud your patience with the grills. I gave up with mine after 10 minutes and I’m not in a hurry to try again.
My release handle split in half. How do I remove it?
