How annoying!! Did you end up getting a new one or have it fixed without having to pay more? I'm super torn on getting the new speedy b 25 DE or to get one pre-loved because of the matte finish leather on the new DE. I've been hearing mixed review about the quality of the new matte leather on the handles & strap compared to the older shiny leather.

I think they’re doing that on purpose so you can go back to them and replace it new but you have to pay around 300-400 dollars for it which is ridiculous!
