What is the soil mix?
Hi Juliet. It's 100% pumice for the ones I have. You may also use a cactus mix.

Thanks for the video!
welcome.
So beautiful
What’s the name of the one with the dark green leaves and yellow veins at 2:20? Thanks.
Alocasia Macrorrhiza New Guinea Gold. You may check the vid here for more info: th-cam.com/video/RLUS1_J35XE/w-d-xo.html.
Thanks for your helpful video. I just bought one of these a couple of months ago and can't find a lot of info on them. I didn't even know the exact variety until i took a photo and searched it. Aparrently, it's a rare breed. My biggest question right now is how to remove a dying leaf. It's a healthy plant but came with a couple of damaged leaves, I got it at a discount store, and one of the leaves is quite large and turning more brown and yellow as time goes on. Should i leave it until it's totally dead or remove it now? The leaf is about 10 inches long and the lower half of it is still green. The stem is quite thick and I'm not sure where to cut, low close to the main stem or take off just the leaf. Please, any help that you can give would be very much appreciated. No one seems to give this kind of info.
The leaf will just continue tp dry up. You may leave it as it is. If you really want to remove it though you may cut at the base of the leaf. The stem will dry up anyways and eventually detach from the main plant.
I see that FIRE TREE and SIBUKAW looks almost the same...except that firee tree got longer seed pods...
good info. thank you.
Silver blue is different from Cleopatra. 2 different plants.
It is indoor plants
It may survive indoor provided it has access to sunlight.
Thank you so much!!!!
welcome. :)
A light soil that has plenty of drainage, even the soilless succulent soil.
agree
Thank you for this valuable info! I have been rearing 2 sensivera - moon shine and yellow verigated, from leaf and was worried why the pups are all green. This explains why.. 😢
Glad it was helpful! 🥰
Where are you from?
Philippines.
San makakabili nyan sis ganda
Eto po nabili ko sa Silang, Cavite. Pwede nyo po i-check sa FB marketplace.
😭 My variegated Sanseveria made green pups by rhizomes when it got more light in partial sun exposure. All the green pups were concentrated on the side of the pot that received sun. So by rhizomes division, I only get green reverted pups. They have more white in brighter light and darker green in deep shape. Yellow finito : I don’t remember obtaining any variegated pups. I don’t understand how growers propagate variegated plants and not much articles / videos talk about the reversion problem. Division or light is absolutely not working to keep the variegations.
That's sad to hear. :'( We live in a tropical country and the conditions allow for variegations to remain. It also happens that the leaves tend to revert on the greener side since it allows the plant to make food.
Pag may extra seed po kayo gawin niyong seed bomb yan tapos tapon niyo lang sa mga lot na may lupa para tumubo yung puno 😊
sige, gawin natin yan.
Hello po, mam ask q lang po san po kau nakakabili ng euphorbia lactea cristata po? Gustong gusto q po kc magkaron nun 😊
Sa FB Marketplace po may mga online garden shops. Try nyo po dun.
Thank you po mam ❤
May i ask if you propegate Cleopatra with leaf the new plant that come out , will revert or the new plant is the same verigation?
I haven't tried the leaf propagation for cleopatra. I saw in one post where the new plants were different from the mother plant. It is a good experiment to try. The result will take some months though.
Hola yo vivo en Estados unidos y no se donde la podria encontrar
Maybe try FB marketplace? I also have no idea.
your voice is cute very cute
thank you for the informative video, it answered all of my questions that I needed information about.
You are very welcome. :)
Still working? Gusto ko bumili ng Solar strip light for my small green house.
we changed our setup na.
Brilliant! Straight forward, simply explained and to the point. 😊
Thank you. :)
Mine keep rotting! Whats going on 😢
Oh no! There may be multiple reasons. Try again if possible and vary some variables (soil mix, freq of water, sun exposure).
Salamat!
We found a seedling near the actual tree, we can't be so sure about it since it got pointy but I saw your seedling and it's pointy when it is young
Nice!!!
Cuold have removed the flower from the top cut so the plant diverts energy into growing roots instead.
thanks you.. will do that next time.
Where do you prune a dead leaf? Can you post a video of it?
At the end of the stem.. you can leave it and it will naturally fall off as well.. Will keep this topic in mind and find some time to make a vid. Thanks for the note.
Thank you! When you say the end of the stem, are you saying where the leaf is at? Or the base?
Love the glossy leaves with red undersides ❤❤
Bakit na varegated yan po
yan po talaga ang variant nya. Lumalabas po kulay kapag lumaki tsaka sun exposed.
the best way to propagate Snake plants is by division for 3 reasons: 1. no waiting 2. original colors/variegation is retained 3. almost 100 percent success
thanks fo sharing. :)
I had never heard of this plant before, now I want one ! Very good video, explained everything to me. Thank you .
Glad it was helpful!
I see them popping up from pavement cracks, never had luck growing them at home.
They do grow from cracks.
How do you propagated them??
By plant division or rhizome. Here's a vid on the actual process: th-cam.com/video/A9HHjBG3AN4/w-d-xo.html.
Thanks for your video in English, most are in tagalog which i don't understand...appreciated.
Thanks for the info. I wish they were as cheap here in the USA
Sorry to hear that
So easy! Thank you 🙏🏼 😊
You're so welcome!
A snow queen is pure white and dark green patches not highly marbled
What can i do to save my lactea plant
what happened?
All you have to do is cut a limb off and stuff into moist soil. So easy in Tennessee. Zero difficulty level.
Love the video!!! Can’t wait to see mine fully grown and bloomed 🌺
You put the this plants outside in the Sun light
Yes, mostly the green ones.
Hi there, how come the top of the rhizome was cut? Also should the top of the rhizome be covered with soil or be kept above soil?
Hi. I submerge part of the rhizome under the soil. When you water the top part usually gets cleaned up. I think I did both cases (covered, kept above soil) and both worked.
Thank you, there's no video that explains why this happens. Good info!
welcome. ♡
Good knowledge ma'am you given❤😊
Thank you and welcome. :)
How can i bye this plant
Maybe try garden shops or online marketplaces? It depends on your location and local availability of the plant
