I've always wished she'd just release an album entirely of piano suites, unaccompanied by voice. An Origins album. Not that I don't love her voice and lyrics, just that I think the instrument is where it all begins. Like this video. The music just pours out of her.

Tous les pianos de la terre rêvent d'être joués avec Tori Amos, je sais que je vais faire des jaloux; ce ne fut pas bien long, mais cela suffit à mon bonheur, car la magicienne Tori ayant posée ses doigts sur mon clavier ( comme une sorte de baptême ), je suis maintenant investis de faire Vivre les notes et Incité à la Création tout au long de mon existence. Un piano heureux !!!.

I was there. Hearing the intro to "Bliss" again just gave me chills. I have never heard it performed better and that makes me feel so special that I was in the room at that beautiful moment. Same for "Pandora's Aquarium" and "Spring Haze;" they were just sheer, never-to-be-repeated perfection on this night in Adelaide. Thank you so much for uploading.

p.s. never heard a more beautiful version of Bliss, btw. <3
