Belissimo video Enrico! Piú la barca e piccola, piú grande é l'avventura! Poi, quante memorie... VinceRo, la nostra precedente barca su cui abbiamo passati la nostra luna di miele, é stata dalla Compagnia Della Vela ad Ameglia, poi siamo stati a Le Grazie per anni, quindi quella rada di Palmaria la conosciamo bene. Poi ci siamo sposati nella chiesa di Portovenere. Quanto é bella la Liguria!... Complimenti per la barca, le avventure ed i video! God bless and fair winds! Chris 👍
Che dire? bravi bravi bravi ragazzi, già, perchè la barba sarà sale e pepe (come la mia) ma la voglia di avventura non è ancora doma! gran bel video, a dimostrazione che non servono i mega yacht per godere il mare e divertirsi.... e senza consumare una goccia di benzina, basta una barca e una chitarra!! Conosco bene l'Elba, ci ho passato 11 volte le ferie agostane (però in albergo al Viticcio allo Scoglio Bianco, con barca al seguito) prima una barca aperta poi un cabinatino di 6 metri (sempre a motore però). Mi ripeto bel video, sembrava di essere in barca con voi. Ciao da Milano
Ciao Walterino! si la voglia di godersi il mare e un po' di avventura era tanta, e il giro dell'Elba pareva l'idea perfetta. Le piccole barche a vela hanno un potenziale incredibile per le crociere costiere, ma pochi se ne accorgono. Bello il Viticcio. Avevo segnato i ridossi attorno a capo d'Enfola come possibili soste ma quel giorno avevamo in testa di provare a salire al M.te Capanne e abbiamo puntato dritto al porto di Marciana Marina. I have a Welsford Pathfinder. Re-boarding after a capsize is not easy Yeah - lots to learn : embarrassingly difficult to re-board I see your ladder I am certain this can be modified *somehow* for me. yet I am puzzled a little - when the boat is inverted, to be useful? the ladder legs need to go 'down' under the water - seems they would instead 'stick up' ? any suggestions?
Would putting a slightly bigger sail on the GIS make it as fast as a Laser?

Ciao Ernesto. Questa barca è lunga 4,75m e larga 1,5m. Lo scafo pesa solo 67Kg. La trasporto sul tetto della macchina. Ciao!

What an epic trip!
It was indeed! This year I did the continuation with a bigger dinghy. Splashed in the same place (Baratti gulf) and turned around Isola d'Elba in 5 days. You can check the video "I vagabondi dell'Elba". Maybe next spring I will continue Southward, along the coast of Italy. Thanks for the visit!

I dream of sailing lake como. Do you find it favorable for sailing between towns or are there many restrictions?
No particular restrictions or regulations. Consider the good wind blows almost only during the good season (summertime), the rest is often dead calm. During summer, it is also possible to find short (few hours) but very strong wind (30kn and more). In that case, you'll need to be out of the water: be ready with a B plan, in case! Ciao Steam, sono 2 taniche da 10 litri l'una. Una volta riempite le posiziono ognuna lungo una fiancata. Il braccio di leva non cambia (essendo una per lato) ma la barca è molto più stabile e meno stancante da condurre. Considera che il Goat Island Skiff non ostante le apparenze ha un assetto bello sportivo: meno di 70kg lo scafo e 10m2 di randa. Con le 2 taniche piene la addomestico un po!

Nice clip, everything looks beautiful, the landscape, the homes, the ports the sea and most importantly for me the boat. I sold my trailer sailer and want to build another small sail boat and I've been looking at all the designs out there and narrowed iy down to a few. Seeing many Goat Island skiffs and finally this one of yours, this clip has made my mind up and my next build will be Goat. Thank you for the upload and finally making my decision easy. Another excellent sailing adventure ... well done! There's nothing like a secure anchorage after a rough passage. It's great to see small boat passages on the sea ... I do all my sailing on inland fresh water lakes and rivers. ⛵👍🙂
