Wow... what a crazy thing to stumble upon! Tom was a co-worker back in that era. "Gotta Be A Buddha" still runs through my head to this day.

One of my favourite song of my teenage years (along with the whole « It came from the pit »)! Too bad an idiot broke my record and was too cheap to buy me another one (and it was probably sold-out by the time the « incident » happened). I still miss, 30 years later, that great record.

mckenzie and tartens or enigmas. paul how do you have the lungs for playing the saxaphone however brilliant anyways you guys played in a small venue i saw you many times with the enigmas sorry i couldnt enjoy the show because i waS PUKING BEER AND TOKES so now when im older i appreciate your sound do you know where i could buy your albums maybe zulu because itunes dont have your material

The Enigmas are playing on January 8th, 2010 at the Bourbon in Vancouver w. Stranglers tribute band, the Manglers.

There was this random blank tape I found in my couch once over a decade ago... this was one of the songs on it... I've found like one or two of the other songs and the others are even more obscure

Why are they great..? because they want to be iggy and the stooges?

Nice to see this Mike. Still gets the feet moving today. Brings back all sorts of (mostly great)memories of working at Zulu and the Vancouver scene. There was very little that could compare to the fun and energy of an Enigmas live show.

Even better than I remember. And this was back when Vancouver had far more than its fair share of amazing live bands... The Enigmas still stood out; how much more would they stand out in today's weak rock scene? (if there were anywhere to play, that is...)
