Mate is also the word for "to die" in Kapampangan, indigenous people in central Luzon Philippines, "makamate" to kill or killer - depends on how you say it, "mete" died.
All caught up after binge watching. Lol. Impatiently waiting for Part 2. 🫡
@@YaBoyMoOfficialTH-cam on its way bro
You lack education toko , I’m Tongan and even I know that Polynesians descend from Melanesians which literally translates to “black islanders” look up the first king of Tonga he’s dark and looks black. Fiji and Tonga are literally next to each other yet we let the white man tell us we not brothers ? I found out I’m related to Prince Enele Maafu a Prince of Tonga and Chief of Fiji. So yeah bro do ya homework we not from Taiwan or America . We came from Africa thru Papua New Guinea than into Oceania
@@heaven1189 I absolutely disagree but ok
Wrong. Wrong. Wrong! " Nobody knew anything before colonisers ..." This so very wrong. Indigenous people of Polynesia had their own indigeous knowledge system. What the Western colonizers did was to destroy this knowledge system and Indigenous people came to undervalue this knowledge an adopted western knowledge.

Yes you can it is in Longoteme
There were lots of things I won’t say but were takin and hidden by some Tongans I won’t say, in the 50s-70s and these Tongan people and there families are pretty wealthy , but I won’t say just staying safe, not mad at them either, they found it first, 🎉 wish I found them first too lol, Ofa atu

39:44 This is straight up noble savage shit! This gave me so much insight of what an honorable combat is...in the Tongan culture!Would have never thought of our ancestors in this light... Its so uncommon to hear of stories like this in todays world of war & combat. It was so refreshing to hear this part of your Tongan culture. This episode made me emotional as well.
