It's the ultimate entry for vinyl newbees. Perhaps even more so, the LP60X, which is the upgraded version of the already accomplished original model.

I love my old linear tracker, owned it since new 40 years ago Realistic LAB 1500. My biggest complaint about it was that it only ran at 33 and not 33 1/3. Forty years later I was doing some service on the unit and found the pitch on the underside....😅. ❤ Audiophiles hated them too. Said the tracking force was too heavy. I have records older than 40 years that it took care of. The nice thing about a linear tracker is they don't scratch or skip. AT does not build junk. Like Realistic did they make audio equipment affordable. I'm using an AT conical stylus, sounds ok for a $50 cart.
