What’s not a globe, the earth? The seals mentioned in Revelation (which I have read plenty along with many commentaries, not the least of which is from G.K. Beale which I highly recommend) seem to be flat but that’s rather irrelevant. The point of this short (which is a maximum of 60 seconds) was to illustrate the seal mentioned there might be what is referred to as the cylinder seal which would be rolled along the wax (or clay) molding the wax into the seal, which would render the visual essence of the passage more clearly and beautifully. Not all seals were from signet rings but the ones from kings typically were, and thus, I would surmise those in Revelation are in fact as you suggest.

You have a much bigger issue. SIN since you were born, you were born a SINNER before God because of Adam and the fall. You need to be BORN AGAIN through Jesus Christ and he will change your earthly desires to heavenly desires. Read the 3rd chapter of John.

Friend, your accusation is itself delusional. After Christ’s ascension (let’s not forget that), His brothers are gathered with others in the upper room in perhaps the most historically attested book in antiquity, the Book of Acts. It’s not like Jesus was an unknown figure. The chief priests knew who they were arresting as they had encountered Him plenty. His brothers didn’t even believe in Him until after His resurrection which would be pretty convincing. This is an absurd idea with no empirical or epistemological basis. The crucifixion is one of the most verified facts in history but, alas, you figured it out. I guess Caesar also wasn’t betrayed and assinated. Alexander the Great didn’t get sick and die young. Btw, there is less to verify those events than Christ’s. You believe it was Christ’s brother bc you refuse to believe in Christ. All such suppression is forced and contrived. You don’t believe, not bc a lack of evidence; you simply hate Him. And only He can change your heart to love Him. I implore you to seek out objective truth and see if you’re persuaded otherwise. That is how my own journey began. The last thing I wanted to be was a Christian but I was overwhelmingly persuaded that Christ truly is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. God willing, so will you. May God lead you into the Light of the world.

Friend, this is sadly a repeated idea which has no foundation at all. Firstly, only one who is sovereign can allow any supposed “lesser god” to do anything. I would implore you to read the Book of Job before casting absurd aspersions. To posit anything as evil, there must be such a thing as good and an objective good Being from whom God comes. Justice is personal and should be objective, not theoretical and certainly not based on your personal feelings. God is good, even when His creatures think He’s not. In order to know “why suffering,” we would have to know everything. Perhaps the omniscient God knows what He’s doing even when we don’t. In other words, in order to contend with God, you better be greater than Him. Good luck.

Thank you for asking! There's more to this but allow me to give a brief answer. The "sea" is a play on the Red Sea and Christ's walking on the sea. The "fire" is a play on the burning bush and Christ's baptizing us in the Spirit and fire. Simply put, we wanted to have a name which pointed both to the Old and New Covenants. Additionally though, it could serve as a double entendre as well. The sea is spoken of in the Bible as a violent thing, but again, Israel was delivered through and Christ walked upon them. Fire is obviously used in judgement, but as I mentioned above, that is not really what we intend to suggest with our name. Fire can be a wonderful thing. It is used for heat, for light, etc. It can save as well as destroy. So, briefly put, one wouldn't blame anyone for thinking our name is analogous to condemnation, but it truly is intended to be analogous to salvation. I hope this is satisfactory enough.
