1 little thing you state in your video that the murders were carried out by Tex Watson and three girls and that one of them is dead and two of them are incarcerated. This isn’t quite correct. The three girls were Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwikle and Linda Kasabian. Susan passed away in 2009. Patricia is still in custody. Linda testified against the family and was granted immunity. She passed away in 2023. The girl you are thinking of that was released recently was Leslie. She took part in the LaBianca murders but not the Tate ones.

My trip to L.A. included a run up to the spahn ranch on a rented Harley. There's nothing there now because of a fire.

Heartbreaking pictures and footage. Sleep in heavenly peace Liam. He clearly suffered for a long time and at the very least that is now over for him, although losing his life would not have been what he would have wanted I’m sure. Is it just me or is everyone decking the halls super early? All throughout November I’ve seen people decorating for Christmas 😂 It’s great to see though. Loving it. I think there would've been more murders if they weren't arrested in Dec 1969. I was very glad that police were able to get that confession from Susan who was already in jail for the murder of Gary Hinman along with Bobby Boseleil whom he also met in San Fransisco in 1967. He was a musician who could've made a name for himself had he not met Charlie.

This was THE WORST MURDER IVE EVER READ ABOUT. I WAS 5 YRS OLD and my mother kept this from me and my brothers 9 and 11 at the time. CHARLES MANSON WAS EVIL WHEN HE GOT OUT OF PRISON IN 1967. He was really looking for a normal life at that time. He lived in the Haight/Asbury district of San Fransisco. Met Susan Atkins, Lynette Fromme, and Mary Bruner at that time traveled to LA met Tex Watson, at a party then Leslie and the other girl(name)? In 1968. Linda Kasabian in 1969 just before the murders of Gary Hinman( business for Charlie) on July 27th and then Aug.8th-9th Sharon Tate,(Actress) Vytek Frokowski(movie producer), Abigail Folger( The Folger Coffee Co Empire), her former boyfriend,(1960's hairstylist to the stars), Steven Parent was a friend of the caretaker of the property. Was just coming out as Tex Watson was already over the property and shot him 4 times. He was a musician ànd looking to build a career in that. But Terry Melcher, record producer didn't think that at the time. So he was going to murder everyone of the Establishment or Hollywood actors, producers, directors, etc. He did murder the Libiancas. But I think that's cause he knew there nxt door neighbor who threw a party they attended. He was the head of a grocery store empire. LSD and him taking over their minds on the drug is what lead to these murders. Susan and Tex have said it took them several yrs to come back to what they believed. Yes they had to be locked up in jail for what they did but it was awful for both the victims and the girls. Susan, Patricia Krenwinkel, and Leslie Van Houten have said they will live with this for the rest of their lives. Charles Manson was the evil one knew exactly what he was doing in 1968-1969 grooming the 5 people who would commit these gruesome murders. This was at a time when you didn't lock your doors. I was a little kid. I learned about this from the book Helter Skelter in 1976. Still people are fascinated by how this all came about. I remember Sharon's mother Doris and her sisters fighting to keep them in jail.

I could NEVER relax in that place knowing what happened but worse is not knowing who’s creeping around at all hours. Every noise would raise the question….what was that? Who was that? You can tear the house down, rebuild, make it look all pretty but it won’t erase what happened or the residual left behind.

Did it feel eerie??

I was only 5 years old when this happened, born and raised in Los Angeles, but my sister was a teen and was afraid to walk to school. It sure did change a lot of things here. After that people didn't feel safe. And really strange thing, my sister married a guy whose father (my sister's father-in-law) was a Beverly hills police officer at the time and was at the crime scene. There is a black and white photo of him there.
