I agree, the last song is definitely a standout. Zelli's got beautiful singing voice so it would be great to see them have more songs in this style in the future! I just love albums that take you on a journey and to me it was exactly that feeling🫶 Also "Enough" isn't actually their only song in that rap style. If you haven't already, you should check out "My grave/Lay with me" from their previos album, it's amazing combo of rap, clean vocals and screaming, very emotional track too!

To hear the perfect pronunciation of Hanabie (Hah - Nah - Bee - Eh with four syllables), simply copy and paste 花冷え。 into Google Translate and have the word read to you, nothing could be easier or faster, not even looking for a one-minute video where Chika explains the pronunciation with a correct Eh ending and then Yukina causes some confusion again with some ay calls that have nothing to do with the serious pronunciation of Hanabie.

Hanabie are truly unique. There are some bands that combine metal and punk with other genres, but no one (except Maximum The Hormone) makes the mixtures sound as perfectly suited as Hanabie's. Reiwa Dating App Generation, for example, is a perfect mix of rap and metalcore, while Be The Gal Early Summer Version deals with the usual pop summer hits in a fun way with a good pinch of electronic music to metal. In the song Pardon Me, I Have To Go Now, Hanabie incorporated traditional Japanese instruments, among many other things.

Hah-Nah-Bee-Eh (four syllables, the Eh at the end like the e in the word error) (Hanabie = cold flower -> frosty spring weather, Hanabi = fire flower -> fireworks, Hannahbeeyay = nonsense) are simply fantastic. No other Japanese female metal band has such a high level of creativity in songwriting. Hardly any other band manages to be sweeter than sugar and downright brutal at the same time. Their songs all sound very different and there are often many other styles and genres incorporated into their metalcore, which results in their own subgenre, Harajukucore. But hey, a heads up man, at the 3:12 mark your audio effect is off the chart ear piercing, not sure if you are aware, but yeah, wearing headphone, it's pretty brutal

You better look out to them. I am convinced they will get next year already bigger. Playing a lot in Europe and in the US on bigger stages. And they still try to get better. This will pay of one day or another. This song has imho the best breakdown so far.

I wouldn't say they use traditional elements in this particular song though. It's mostly the visuals that play on that theme. The most "Japanese" song Hanabie have in terms of instrumental and melodies is called Love Ranbu (Love Rampage), which coincidentally is also their heaviest offering to date. It doesn't have a music video unfortunately, but if you decide to check it out despite that search for 花冷え。LOVE乱舞 By the way if you're going to Brutal Assault next year you will have the chance to see Hanabie live - they just announced their appearance earlier today ^^

Obscura songs are always so epic! They definitely have a formula that never gets old. Insane solos on this track. Very progressive tech death. The best
