I just did this for a sweater of mine on the sentro! There are ways to hide the seam going down the middle when you join the panels so it looks just like one big panel instead of 2 joined together, but I actually really like the way it looks with the visble/bulky seam (more homemade look which I love) then I added a cool "x" stitch up the seam with a different color yarn and it looks so sick! My grandma always said, if you can't hide an "obvious" imperfection then make it a feature of the garment 👌 i used brown yarn for the sweater and a bright orange for the "x" stitching up the front and back panels

I need to go back to my Goodwill tomorrow because they had the same knitting machine for five bucks

Hello, great tutorial, thank you! I'm also interested if you could write or tell in the video the diagonal size of a hexagon from corner to corner in centimeters or inches. Since I knit tightly and do not really understand whether the hat will be looser with my type of knitting

Great tutorial for your first time, easy to follow and approachable. Next time it's good to remember that showing how to connect certain parts is better if you do it closer to the camera and its always better to show it to many times than to little - this way everyone will be sure they're following along. Other than that it was very wholesome Good job!
