How close is chewelah? Thinking about making a last min trip here. It’s way cheaper than other places and looks good.
Any nightlife?
20ish minutes/10miles. Place is awesome , but Angel Peak lift doesn't run weekdays. There's a few bars in town for nightlife is about it. Nordlig Motel(70$/night) is a good place to stay there, just booked my midweek trip for 360$ for 3 nights motel and 3 days lift tickets......

The Spokane river is beautiful, but man does it ever have a lot of poison ivy.
I am new to Spokane. Do you know if I can fly fish the river starting from the trails at bowl and pitcher area? Or should I try somewhere else
Yes you can fly fish bowl and pitcher, or anywhere u can access the river. The river is closed to fishing March 1st through the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It’s closed between the post falls dam and the little falls dam, west of downtown. Parking at bowl and pitcher does require a discover pass, about 30$ for a year. One amazing area is the Sandifur bridge, about a mile down stream from downtown. Trout city! (But don’t tell anyone!) Good luck 🤙🏽
@@Tycoma509 hey thanks man!!! I have a discover pass and I have been out there just never tried fishing. I am very new at fly fishing but almost had some success yesterday by the military cemetery trail. I had one on for about 40 seconds and it popped off but for me that’s a win. I appreciate the help I am just trying to figure out what I should and should not be doing and I don’t know anyone on the area so I’m on my own.
I lived in CF from ages 4-10 and I miss it! Hope elementary was a great school. I want to retire there!
