I participated in the Celeste Any% Open qualifiers yesterday, and my goal was to put up a time I was happy with. Turns out I broke a PB barrier in the process! Run starts at 1:35 I ran this offline in a CelesteCommunity VC just to practice, and did not expect to almost sub-3 Golden Ridge. Also netting a 5B pb and Summit PB in the process! This run was nuts, and further proves that I do better in the late game than early game (though I'm working on it with City and Site). Also I will learn to nail autoscroller skip skip better I swear.

After my sub-35, I've been putting in the work to learn faster strats for some rooms throughout the game. I've worked on 1A start, 3A start and 2000m a ton. I figured it'd be worth going for some Summit ILs to work consistency, and it led me to my first ever sub-10 summit! Still some shaky deaths and misplays, could probably go down to 9:30 with these strats alone.

Funny enough, I was using BingoUI and BingoClient during this, only benefit it has to speedruns is shortening the end screen for chapters (long live archie) but otherwise idk why I even used everest for IL runs Also thanks! 5B is my favorite chapter in the game so I have a lot of practice on it, you'll get there!

How do you use TAS features?
click to techmino logo 5 or so times the console will appear type help just to be sure. and then it’s probably tas on but you can look at the proper command if you need to and then go in game pause the game turn tas on that’s it

Hey! Yes, unfortunately you can only use initial hold, or IHS, if you held your previous piece. You may also use these at the same time if needed! Great questions :)
