And lets face it, we adults love to play with them as well! Bel...

Transformer Toy History - 1980
มุมมอง 9K2 ปีที่แล้ว
Kids who grew up in the 80s, like me, couldn’t get enough of these transformer toys. Robots that could transform into cars, planes and big semi trucks. What young boy didn’t want this under the Christmas tree. Transformers - along with G.I. Joe - was one of the best selling toys of the 80s in America. But it didn’t start in America, and these toys weren’t always known as transformers. Take we t...

80s fashion also return in 2000s as well
Whenever someone says oh I didn’t know that or anything along those lines. I would then say ‘And knowing is half the battle.’ And they will look at me all strange 😂. So hope lots of people see this and start saying it too!!
I get the same response lol!
It was stupid back then and is as stupid now!
Love this series
I drank Coca Cola that expired 15 years ago
I studied this decade and other past decades all my life. I wonder who else had studied the 80s besides me.
I wore leg warmers back in the day, but I’m not sure how they stayed up, you would think that they would slide down
Inexpensive? No
Martha Nelson Thomas is the original Creator she had sold the idea to this gentleman a local merchants originally called doll babies when he took over the name he started producing it under Xavier cabbage patch dolls with birth certificates that originated from doll babies
I just grabbed an entire box from Walgreens, cost me a little over $30 but worth it!
Swatch Watches, Windbreaker suits, baggy jeans (rolled tight for breakdancers), colorful knit sweater coats.
I played with a Lite Brite as a kid, but I never understood the templates, just pushed the pegs through the paper randomly.
*Dont forget Hyper color tshirts" or RIP Zone I have a pair of tore up acid wash jeans that are so old they started with a knee tear (i bought them like that) the knee tear is now the entire thigh on that side of the pants missing but I still wear them i just close up some of it with my trusty safety pins 🤘
Not sure if you remember the old Mr.Mugs books or Dick, Jane and Spot I've tried keeping my eyes open but they were learners when I was little and would like my 6yr old to have some
I found one of the Fisher Price stoves at a second time shop and even in my hand but I put it back 😞
I can still smell the glosnail toy in my mind, and I loved my gloworm
I wont remember wearing a apple watch. But I will remember wearing a transparent swatch.
Me and my sister got a Glow Worm when we were 4 & 2.
I'm lucky. I just found 6 6 packs of these in my garage
Why i see small bubbles in that bottle
This video is for the Lincoln mall
LA Gear rebranded as Skechers! Yes, those 1980's LA Gear shoes live on today in Skechers, cutest shoes ever. <3

My partner is from America and he has a lot of pics of Halloween in 1980s. I love them. Here in malta we celebrate Halloween but from some years ago in the past we didn't know that Halloween exist.
Yet in black-and-white, it still looks colorful!
TIME TO BUY ANOTHER!!!!
SUGGESTION SWATCH WATCH RENNISANCE!!!!
I HAD THREE IN HIGHSCHOOL AND COLLEGE!!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!! YBNORMAL!!!!
THANK YOU SO MUCH.
I think the year was 1986 I was in Kindergarten and I had my WWF Sgt. Slaughter Ben Cooper costume, I can remember getting dressed and going to the gymnasium, as I walked in the halls all the other kids were coming down to enter the gymnasium. I had no idea what was going on but it felt like it was the biggest event on earth, my little mind couldn't grasp what was going on, all we were told was get dress there's a Halloween party and parade. When we got to the gym we lined up and then went to the playground and paraded around the field while our parents were outside cheering us all on. Then we all went to the gym and partied with the parents, teachers, and kids. These kids today will never be able to experience that fun, heck they can't barely even mention the word Halloween.
Bumbags were great. And yup always make sure jeans were long enough to peg. In fact we even pegged baggy chinos
I’m mainly a digital watch kinda guy, but for a brief period when I was in middle school, I had a Swatch.
THE BEST OF TIMES
I loved la gear shoes I wish they would come back
I was 15 in '83 and I never ever owned a Swatch.
Swatches are still more expensive than the superb Casio's in the UK.
I almost forgot about rolled up jeans!!!!!!!
This was fun. I will never forget this stuff!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!
Nice video, But what about Swatch Guards ?
As someone born in the year 2000, I can respect 80s fashion 😎 I actually own a jacket shirt with shoulder pads on them. Yeah! That's it! Shoulder pads!
Even when they were fashionable I hated shoulder pads, use to cut them out and it worked so much better well until my mom figured out I borrowed one of her shirts again and she was gonna have to sew those little suckers back in 😂
Very recognizable! I got my first swatch, mc gregor, from my parents in ‘85 I think and loved it. Later I also had the turquoise bay and a jelly transparent one. All my watches got stolen 20yrs back unfortunately. Now few wks ago I found and bought a Nautilus from ‘86 in great condition via our local Ebay and I love it! Its tiny indeed, 34mm but getting used to it again. The fun thing is you see No-One wearing it😊 thanks for the nice vid.
Bullshit
I used your sound in a short and had to come see the original video. I had so many swatches and never knew what the name stood for until you 😅 Great memories surrounding this brand; thanks for the informative video! Oh, and I had completely forgotten about the Swatch Guards... A must have! ❤
Oops, sorry my son just pointed out. That wasn’t Nemo. It was flounder from the little mermaid.
I have that exact swatch on your thumbnail. Need replacement straps tho. Missed an unused one on ebay for 20 bucks ; ;
I wore acid washed jeans that were pleated and had pockets in the thighs you could unsnap and drape the pocket down that had different colored material like stripes or flowers, and my pixie sneakers that the cuff at the top would also fold down to show off a print. Loved them!
They had "skinny jeans" back then but were not called that as they had the zipper on the ankle part and they pulled there thick socks up over the bottom of jeans to hide the zipper. Loved rhe aerobics videos if gals wearing high cut leotards with various colored tights.
virgin
I became a teenager in the 1980s and it was the best years of my life. I miss the 24hr clubs in NYC.
Had one in 1987
