Ahh nice amount of games 😁 Hope you enjoy them all and had a great holiday!! I’m still waiting on my Persona CE’s from LRG that were meant to make it in Dec but got pushed to Jan 😞 But stuff that actually was given to me over the holidays was the legacy of Kain remasters which is a series I’ve never touched but can’t wait to dive into eventually. Technically a gift more so to myself but also ended up ordering a much stronger laptop to hopefully host live content for Brandon which is exciting. Was a tonne of fun being present on his channel this year, we gotta get you back on at some point!! Love hearing your thoughts about the goings on in gaming. ✊

I'm going to be honest with you. You lost me at 80 hours and you're probably halfway there 😂😂😂😂 Nonetheless, it looks like a really cool game and I'm sure Scott appreciated the shout out on astral chain. He really wants me to play it it and I think I would really enjoy it.

You know I hadn't even heard of LaserDisc until you pick some up at SEGE or did the video from the thrift store that you had picked up. Indiana Jones. I have no idea which one came first LOL. I had to look up to see if The secret garden was worth anything sealed and sadly it's only but 10 bucks. Still super neat, expensive or not. It's an amazing collection for sure

The resolution is about 450p. A little under the standard 480p at the time. Often times the LDs would get the safe transfer that was mean for the VHS copy. Hence why they would be a softer image. They’d often tailor to what VHS would look like since that version would sell way more copies. Nice collection man 🤙🏻

Cool looking game I’ll have to check it out. Maybe we’ll get lucky and limited run will release it.

Remember watching a fair bit of Laser Disc movies in the 90s. The resolution must have been more than 240p. I mean, standard VHS is 480p. The pictures were crystal clear, and you could frame by frame to get to a specific point in the film, with no blurring or the effects that plagues VHS. Nice to see a consumer "report" like this....

Speaking of failed innovations... have you ever seen HD VHS? It came out after DVDs.

This was a beautiful, beautiful video. I will never tire of hearing the story about your grandmother and what she sacrificed to give you guardian Legends. It's so heartwarming and so pure and so kind! We are happy to have games right now to distract us. Strike has not been easy and thankfully I have Metroid Dread to take my mind off things

Sometimes the games that you play during important times of your life become some of your favourites. I’m thankful for Unicorn Overlord being awesome and helping me the last couple weeks. Great video thanks for sharing your personal stories.

That's so crazy we had similar videos around the same time. We have a family event that is currently happening so that's where mine came from. I loved hearing about how they helped you.

Sometimes I think the story that goes along with the game is just as if not even more important than the game itself. The story about your grandma getting you Guardian Legend hits home for me because I know my family was exactly the same. Games and toys were gifted to my sister and I at great sacrifice too. Money just wasn’t there all the time. Great story Moandain. This was a great video dude! 🤙🏻 PS…I loved CyberPunk too!

I just remember passing up that 3d dot game for $5. I could kick my own ass 😂😂😂 I know that has zero to do with this video, but I've never played that series you're talking about and the title made me think of that.

I remember getting .Hack Infection and being blown away. I never played the rest though and I think they go for a pretty penny nowadays.

Lithium grease is not recommended for plastics, can cause premature degradation. Silicone grease is a better. Nice video.

I remember you telling us about the pawn shop dollar bin. What a douche! Why have a dollar bin. Screw that! I would never give him a dime of business and he would get a bad yelp review too…🤬 GameStop retro is a joke…I actually have a small experience recently with them and it pissed me off too. They are too corporate to make it work well. And I can already see it failing big time.

F@ck that pawn shop, I wouldn’t ever go back. These businesses need to learn that poor business practices lose customers. These days money is tight so I’m only spending it at places that treat there customers right.

Congrats on almost 7 years and I get what you're saying. While it's best to try to stay positive, sometimes those negative experiences just bubble to the surface and talking about them and sharing your woes is a part of the human condition. It's not all rainbows and butterflies all the time and I'm sorry you've had those experiences. I would especially be pissed by the strategy guide but 2nd and Charles wasting your time sucks just as much in its own specific way. Also, we definitely feel the same way about Retro GameStop. 😢

I’m not a haggling type of person so I probably fall prey to bad deals all the time, we don’t really have as many physical stores in the UK here so I just usually end up having to purchase items online. I wish people who sold online gave more photos that’s my biggest gripe. Show me case condition, disc condition etc it’s so lacking. I’ve only experienced two sales where I’m left feeling completely done over most of my experiences fortunately have been positive. But as this hobby has boomed it seems so many more problems have been introduced like pricing going through the roof much quicker it feels like. One instance was people purchased BG1&2 remasters out and made the price stay at 60. Whereas before BG3 released you could get the collectors edition for 20ish. It just puzzles me how these prices get pushed universally 😂 Sorry to hear about your experience though it sucks for sure. Congrats on 7 years as well!! Amazing job and here’s to the next 7 ✊

Congrats on almost 7 years! I saw this video and was like oh yeah it is the 15th already. lol Sharing your negative or bad experiences isn't the same as being negative. I don't think you were harping or being excessive but just stating this is what has happened to me and it stunk. Pawn shops I rarely go to these days. It just doesn't seem worth it unless I am in the area and have a lot of free time. I haven't even tried looking at Gamestop in months. The selection of physical has been lacking for years and adding retro isn't going to entice me in. I'd much rather go to my local retro shop.

The PSVR plays these in 3D? Really? That’s wild. I never knew that. I own a few 3D Blu Rays from back when I had a 3D TV (which was horrible IMO). I will have to check the VR option out now just to see how that goes. You have an amazing collection of 3D movies dude. Kinda surprised some of these were available as 3D still. Are they still making 3D releases? I bet MIB is a good one in 3D. Pixels too! 🤣 Seems like certain films translated much better than others. Point Break remake was a terrible movie. Ready Player One is in 3D too? That’s awesome!

I've never watched a 3D movie at home... and only a handful in the theater. That's crazy about the PSVR. I didn't know it could do that. You may have to loan me a 3D movie to try it out

Years ago I would have waited for years for a game I was really excited about. Now it would probably be a couple of months if that. If we count kickstarters It goes back to years. lol The game looks solid.

Halo 3 ODST is a great game. Fun playthrough and story telling. Firefight mode is tops. I still go back and play it on the 360.

I enjoy Jumper. It is entertaining enough and the jumping power is interesting. Keeping the card board shrek disk is a nice touch. The Tron movies are great. I didn't think much of the second until I rewatched it. Are they still making 3D movies?

I don't think it's a matter of wanting to wait for a game that long as much as is, you don't have a choice 🤷🏼‍♀️ Let me get back to you when we've ever get Chained Echoes and I'll tell you if it was worth it LOL
