The surface of planet Jazz is covered with Red Clay and Jack Wilkins is the master sculptor.
What is the title of this composition?
lol, the zoom out with like double the band we saw
Decent remake..nothing tops the original
Thanks for recording and posting this gem!!
What a time to be alive🎉
Sign me up
Lovely ❤
Fabulous. Learning more about these players.
It was a killer show, thank you for filming!
Jason is always so good at creating the perfect ambiance during solos, adds so much to it and I think he enhances the soloists playing, gets them more in the mood
hell yea
Simply beautiful! Wish I was in the audience.
Yeah man! I'm so glad I got to see this.
Jack was one of THE greatest guitar players on the planet!! PERIOD.
Just saw This quartet in Austin. Berniss is so killin 🙌🙌🙌🙌

RIP my friend
Excellent trio
Oh my god, where have you been. Greetings from Sri Lanka
So fun. Appreciate your sharing. 💚👽
he's a guitar genius
a better drummer would have been nice, sad that the only good sounding drumpiece is the snare but good enough
Huh?
@@chipstern1 Bad drum kit sound. Tried to like the song couple months ago
I've been trying to find tabs for this or even someone covering it I want to learn this song as per the Windows album so bad, absolutely blew my mind when I first heard it! What a talent 🤯
Look up red clay by Freddie Hubbard, you might find better results. Tribe sampled that version because it has Ron Carter on Bass.
Tim is a living legend and one of the greatest to do it.
Wooohhh!!! 🔥
My style is kinda fat reminiscent of a whale…
So much nuance in your guitar work, very inspiring!
so soothing, love this man
Saw this live. This video doesn’t do it justice!!! Winter Jazzfest. Nearly every musician from earlier in the night showed up to hear this set.
Yea I saw Shawn Crowder and Immanuel Wilkins at the venue.
Dig your groove.Very ethereal. Keep at it!
thanks, but not "my" groove. these are three of the most renown jazz musicians in the world improvising at NYC winter jazz fest 2023.
Saw them in Jersey during a summer trip. Wonderful group, and an emotional and talented bassist.
The brightness of that Collins sounds amazing here
This sucks. No wonder jazz is dying.
THANKS!! been listening to and loving Randy's wonderful guitar work since 1974 Orchestra Luna days in Boston - this may be the closest I've ever heard of Randy jamming on a Hendrix type riff! sounds a bit like the "Freedom" riff. play ON brother! Straight Ahead!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cool Funkadelic cover🤘🏿
His chord and double stop work is insane. The way they just flow off the top. It’s like he sees them as single notes. That’s a level to aspire to reach.
Completely agree. And you can't just find lessons on how to play like this. Nobody can play like this, only option is to watch videos and study and assimilate The style is so unique
@@MrJoshDada facts! like the people who can play remotely close to that are VERY hard to find. And they might not even offer lessons.
ils sont passés à Marseille et je ne les connaissais pas encore j ai raté à mon grand regret....
I legit think this song was the highlight of the fest for me. Live arrangement is so incredible and the band is absolutely killing!
Yes sir! PJ killed this one.
@@georgew260 Totally agree, revisiting this because I'm so excited to see these guys at the fort again this year!
piano solo start 4:30
This one reminded the master Jorge Ben! th-cam.com/video/luJZbeyfvmc/w-d-xo.html
Yo! You know what this song was called? It’s driving me bonkers!
It's called Giant, it's on the record Prog
Trumpet and Keys, TALENT!
Never heard McBride and Nate play together. Sounded amazing!
