She said to to the producers on the set of the first film, there was a scene they'd written which she felt was too flirty between Dumbledore and McGonagall so she highlighted it and wrote "Dumbledore's Gay" next to it!
I never known Albus Dumbledore is gay I think it’s kind of a crazy little strange but I think I want to see Elvis dating a man in the future that we become interesting and a little shocking to me😮
I don't get why people were (and apparently still are) upset about this. I suspected Dumbledore was gay long before Rowling said so. He wears purple robes with gold stars and high-heeled boots; his Muggle clothing is a plum velvet suit; "I do enjoy knitting patterns." There are other examples that I can't remember. I realize that these clues are based in stereotypes, but how else would she get it across with any amount of subtlety?
I'm a big fan of Harry Potter, I've always been really curious of the whole history so, investigating, I read more than a decade ago that Dumbledore is gay... with the new movie, the amount of people surprised and saying that is unexpected that Dumbledore is gay made me doubt about everything, I'm like "wait, but we all knew he was gay, right? why is everyone talking about it? " I had to look if it was really known that he was gay cause omg, this only helps to confirm one thing. A lot of these big "fans" never were real fans 💀
actually if any devoted potterhead READ THE BOOKS, we know there are some implications. Dumbledore was definitely in some kind of tragic love story which keeps him single but knows the power of love (as he enjoys lecturing Harry the power of love and understands Snape's deep affection for Lily). When he particularly emphasised the modern dark lord Voldy had no idea what's love, which was his weakness, it kinda implies that the previous dark lord, Grindleward, knew what's love. And why Dumbledore knows that is self-explanatory(?). Another question is that Dumbledore was at equal with Grindleward, so how could Dumbledore defeat him? Why is it 'defeat' but not 'kill' or 'lock in Azkaban'? Of cuz it was not certain whether Dumbledore is gay or not in the books but he was certainly in love when he was younger and he shared a very close relationship with G that once weighted over his family and the world. Perhaps J.K. did not explicitly write D IS GAY in children's book that were published decades ago (we are not that liberal at that time), or just simply it was awkward to write about that like the old headmaster told his students or colleagues about his old love story like a bedtime story??! I am sure that J.K. did think about the background of each character carefully when she was writing the books. Even J.K. may have said many things controversial, please do not place your hate on the character and the books. I certainly do not think this is about political correctness. the fact is perfectly aligned with the published books. And there is NOTHING WRONG ABOUT BEING GAY. (we love the wizarding world which emphasis equality between people that are born wizards and muggles, so as sexual orientation) I believe anyone who truly love the wizarding world would at least understand this.
Cancel Tom Felton for not loving the news more. He needed to weep with joy over the news instead of this homophobic show of ignorance and uncertainty over the announcement.
His mind: “yea I heard about what that crazy bîtçh said. She’s lost her mind. She’s definitely lost her mind… shit or maybe she’s trying to get those loonies to buy her tickets. That’s pretty smart. But she seemed pretty serious on twitter… oh no oh fuck IS WEASLEY GAY”
I remember this. My mom called me in hysterics about how Rowling had “no right” to make Dumbledore gay. Me: it’s her Character mom. If she wants to make him a triple winged Pegasus disguised as a humanoid, she can!
@@9b_35_sheershshrivastava8 oh? Because there’s absolutely zero chance that someone in that family could be gay themselves right? 🙄🤦♀️ I was 13 when my cousin came out to me, it took another 20 years before he came out to the rest of our family. So, tell me again that representation in family movies is “disgusting” when it’s actually saving lives in the most subtle way.
This video was uploaded in 2007, and it has almost 2 million views, yet clowns on the internet still mock JK because she apparently said this recently...
If the owner of this channel is still active this if for you I want to buy your channel and turn it into a Harry Potter channel if you’re interested let me know thanks
He’s so baffled 😆
In this video Tom Felton actually invented a new expression “News to my ears”
She said to to the producers on the set of the first film, there was a scene they'd written which she felt was too flirty between Dumbledore and McGonagall so she highlighted it and wrote "Dumbledore's Gay" next to it!
Slim shady
Dude was so over her BS. As everyone else is...
I am here after watching Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore. Yes he's gay😂
I never known Albus Dumbledore is gay I think it’s kind of a crazy little strange but I think I want to see Elvis dating a man in the future that we become interesting and a little shocking to me😮

Omg, his laugh in the begging is traumatizingly cute❤
I can imagine Draco being like “My father will hear about this!”
lmao the description to this video
This guy is absurdly British on expression and mannerism alone.
Jk broke my heart.
“Did you ever see any clues?” *Dumbledore walking by in high heels* “No, not at all!” 😂💀
He’s soo handsome and cute, his little dance at the start 😭😂
Proof even the actors were like wtf? She’s def doing this for money 😂
This was from 2007, and people STILL pretend Albus being gay is a completely new thing in the latest Fantastic Beast movie.

no
Being gay is wrong and annoying after decades with their massive invasion in any media they are as rude as muslims and very crazy.

lmao he's trying hard not to laugh

It's still disgusting in family movies

Introduce sexual perversions to cheapen the story. He was never gay. Jk is grasping for woke points
El amor no es ninguna perversión, incluso entre dos personas del mismo sexo
sexual perversions?? bro have you lost your mind lmaooo so dramatic and for what
You are right
Draco like: well, that explains why he rubbed me and other students...
First she kills them, than she makes them gay. brilliant.
Omg, this was posted two days before I was born. He looks amazing here
LMAO he starts laughing as soon as he hears "JK Rowling"
It's been here since 13, maybe even earlier? Wow, Dumbledoor really has more in common with harry than I thought. They both lived in closets!
