@kpzcbttp Rommel was from a European line of dobes, but not from the British Isles... More eastern Europe. He was technically my brother's dog, which is why I'm a bit fuzzy on the details. I'm so glad people are enjoying the video, and I'm glad I made it in '05. Don't think I could've made it when he died. Rommel reminds me of my dobe zak who died june 16th 2011, I keep playing your video and I love the bit when they sing "and your little chocolate eyes" I miss my dog so much. Zak was from the Krieger line of dobes and had the same markings on his front paws as Rommel. He was born in Ayrshire in Scotland and his home with me was Hamilton Scotland and he had a wonderful life until he died age 9yrs of dilated cardio myopathy . Your video warms my heart. god bless.
