Love the old Geezer yelling "You Suck" 13:38 it's not your type of music pompous ahole and to put down a bunch of kids shameful.
What is everyone yelling 6:10?
I didn't know that this was up I've only seen clips from the interview. Weapons compilation Reflections of a Troubled mind is my favorite. There's still copies left on Divebomb Records
I made it to 3:27 wish they had better mics and such but it was the eighties probably playing at a fair
Gonna be a Heavy Metal Parade.
Thanks for the this !
The warm-up Band, Moderate Animosity, wasn't bad either.
These guys sounded so tight live! Been really digging their mutant law and lead reign demos and their compilation album as well
Killer stuff! So brutal for 1986!! Really good song writting! Weapons stuff is great aswell! Watching the other bands that played the same night, is easy to see how far ahead of their time they were! I hope that Demo tape is found in the near future. Cheers from Mexico!
Could have ended at 0:10
Thanks. I fixed it.
First view/comment...
during the drum solo they started booing them I'm not gunna lie the drum solo was a little lame and the sticks kept hitting the rim of the drum so that kind of killed it
He was only 14 at the time, so cut him some slack. He was the drummer for 6 GiG, and he was in a drummer magazine, on a top ten list. He was a great drummer. Many people considered him the best drummer, in Maine.
@ReigningOnYourParade Yup. Dave improved in leaps and bounds from this point. He was absolutely obsessed with the drums.
Awesome!
Do a remaster, and release it on vinyl. That Dave Hoffman guy probably has some cool footage, and doesnt care about looking for it.
@@ReigningOnYourParade it’s too bad the vocals are barely heard. Hatred was a lot cooler than Weapons. Weapons is pretty good too though.
@@socialxcancer I think it sounds pretty good overall, and for a outdoor show. Dave Hoffman could have rehearsal room footage and up close live footage, but i guess, doesnt care. The show got cut short by one track "Hatred Rulers"..it was a killer sing along track. I had a rehearse cassette back in the day, with the song on it. Nobody seems to have any of those rehearsal cassettes, and they sounded pretty good.
@@ReigningOnYourParade the show quality sounds awesome, just the vocals are barely heard. I don’t have a real record label. Social Cancer Records is just for releasing my solo material primarily. That’s cool you used to have a tape.
sick i seen a guy interview this 0ne guy that was 0ne them they s0und like black sabbath butt i did not know they did scream metal then i hate scream music
any update on a demo tape?
This is it, man. All that survives, as far as I know.
@@MatthewLewis68 damn was really looking forward to it
@@stluke4655 their weapons era stuff is on divebomb records. I found out about that era through a facebook meme today that featured a picture of the vocalist from the interview. someone put a video of their demo in the comment section. mutant law demo is on youtube as well
All you can say is they where ahead of there time...
That audience would have loved Disney tunes! Haha!
Are these guys on Spotify?
Yeah was wondering the same thing! Did you find them?
@@someoneontheweb4303 bandcamp and divebomb records. except it't not under hatred it's under their later name "weapons"
@@zekeooo2 Oh damn thank you so much. I will check it out!
@@someoneontheweb4303 cheers! I only found out about it yesterday from a Facebook comment section through a meme, their mutant law demo is prob my favorite so far
@@zekeooo2 Ah alright. I really loved Leadrigh! v1 Love the vibe and the switch from singing to guitars. Wish it was mixed better tho! But hey it's cool. Wonder why they changed their name, Hatred sounded awesome!
Dos anyone know if David Hoffman's crew recorded the whole show? I saw clips of this show in the one Hoffman interview that seemed like it was from the cameras on stage, and was much better quality
He has all of it.wish he'd post it. Don't know if maybe his audio would be a little better.
@WaveArsenal Would love to see his footage, as well. If anyone has any ideas, on how we could get a hold of it, let me know. I know that money talks....The show was cut short by one track called Hatred Rulers. It was a sing along track, great track. I had a rehearsal cassette back in the day, with Hatred Rulers. For an outdoor show, this upload sounds real good.
@@ReigningOnYourParade I'm late lol but maybe send him a email via his business address. He might respond!
@@someoneontheweb4303 He, responds, all the time on his TH-cam Channel. He does not care, so he does not want to bother, to locate any footage. Even said, we would give him money, and still, no response.
@@ReigningOnYourParade damn! Maybe if we can can find one of the band members they might be able to get his attention. Anyways thanks for the respond :)
Hey, anyone in this band still musically active? I just moved to Maine a year ago. Any of you guys need a drummer vocalist illustrator with some u.g.Metal cred? I'm 51 and would love to create something heavy with any of you. Studio only or live. I have good connections. Check my pg. Here for my old bands.
I am.(I'm the blonde guitar player) Over 60 original songs on my TH-cam page. Click my profile pic and check it out if you'd like. A sub would be most appreciated, if you like it.
Did they ever make any recording ?
Yep some of it was released by Divebomb Records titled Weapons "Reflections of a Troubled Mind"
HATRED. fucking rules ! did they ever make a demo or lp?
Dudes, aside from the fact that recording an album or even a demo was pretty damn hard back then I sure wish y'all got studio time. This rips!
They recorded a couple demos after they changed their name to Weapons
Poor guy! I wonder if after the show he was all pumped up and excited!! and somebody turned to him and said....Great Show Bro!! But we didn't hear you at all!!! :(
If they would have been at the right place (like the Florida death metal scene) at the right time and not a tiny 6-7000 population I think it's possible we would be talking about these guys like we talk about Death, Cannibal Corpse, Celtic Frost etc.... These dudes were definitely 5-10 years ahead of the game.
Remembered watching the interviews and catch up vids on these kids and wanted to rewatch it. I looked it up and im stoked to find the whole show
I wish you could hear the vocals better other than that great video

LEGEND!!!
Are they any better quality versions? Something like digitised demo tapes or whatever?
This is it........for now.
HATRED was ahead of their time out in Maine. Would have liked to seen you all in the Bay Area back in the day. HATRED / WEAPONS would have been well received!!!⛧🤘
Hatred were using their influences properly, not trying to sound like anybody else.
hes so hawt
Hatred be like... "I guess you guys aren't ready for that, yet. But your kids are gonna love it."
They named this place after northern Ireland
Legendary to have this I lost my band stuff and it’s more recent

Nice to meet you... Man, you guys kicked ass, back in 1986. I had a Hatred rehearsal demo, back in the day, wish i still had it. Do you know anybody with a Hatred cassette? So, cool seeing this video....Cheers!!!
@@ReigningOnYourParade Thanks. I don't have any old music anymore. I'm working on some new thrash/death though.
We need a reunion show!
Unfortunately David Rankon has past away
@@heavymetal9448 How?
@AnarchyMania 2002 or smt I don't know the guy I just replied to the lead singer and he told me Abt what happened
@@WhoisVinnie I don't know
@@heavymetal9448 Oh
HATRED!!!!!!
Thanks so much for uploading this, Trevor Knowles.....and i think i was over your house, back in 1986-1987. Went to a place called Job Corps, and one weekend i went to Belfast, with a guy named David Boyle. And we drank some beers at your house. And you played this video, Hatred came on and i started flippin out, and you guys were like "you know this band, you like this" and everyone thought i was insane, at your house....Cheers man.
Thanks for sharing this with me.......gotta love those days. And that bass is epic!
@@FreeMTrider Cool....Did you see Exodus with Bayloff?
@@ReigningOnYourParade yes back in 1985. They played at the El Dorado Saloon here in Sacramento, CA. A lot of great bands played that club back then. Megadeth on the Peace Sells tour. King Diamond. Trouble. We were lucky because most of them came from the Bay Area and would play Sac a few times a year or we would go see them there. I saw Metallica on Kill 'em All and Ride the Lightening. Great times.
First!!!!
Great Job Susie
