Santana played at Woodstock in 1969, and they proved they could kick out some seriously bangin' Dad Rock by 1979, when this song was released! I got to trigger some hand claps and a conga drum on my kit at the beginning.🤘💥🤘

Well this is just for fun a novelty song from 1975 that actually hit number one on the country and the pop music charts. This song brings me back to my childhood, when trucking was considered cool, my dad had bought a CB radio for our car, and we had this song on a 45 single. Good times! PS - I didn't have a cowboy hat to wear, so I used a trucker hat instead. Over and out! 😃🤘🤘💥

When I was in 6th grade in 1986, a classmate played this song and a couple other Foreigner songs in the school auditorium for the whole whole school. It blew everybody away. So cool. Anyway, that kid went on to be a highly respected drummer, musician, producer. He owns his own studio today.

Gnarly dad rock? Man I dunno about that...this is just pure classic rock, my favorite! Although now a days when you listen to classic rock stations on the various streaming services, you'll find Metallica, Motley Crue, and others on there. It's like holy shit, we got old fast. The kit is sounding fantastic on this cover! The kick drum is pure level godlike and the snare is perfect Foreigner! Big fan of this cover Mike!

The first album I ever bought with my money was Foreigner "Records" It had Hot Blooded as a Live Track, and it still sounds weird to me hearing the studio version. You cranked it though.
