DIY Traditional Wall Tent
This is a guideline for building a small wall tent. As I can And with the tools I have. This time, I used waterproof canvas. It works well, But there is still water in the seams. I have to fix the problem next. I think that, I will use “Gear Aid Seam Grip”

Had a small wall tent about this size for my patrol when I was a boy scout. Wish I could find one at a reasonable price again. Nice job.

Nice tent! I like the method of setting it up with the two lines at one end, but none in front of the main door. A mix of beeswax and paraffin wax will make it waterproof and not be sticky in warm weather.

use bee wax, rub it on the outer side of the wall.

Wow, awesome video. Take clear silicone in tubes and dissolve it in acetone until you get a thin solution of completely emulsified and homogenized blend of silicone/solvent. Apply that emulsion to the canvas in as close to evenly as possible via a pump up sprayer 9or some system you find that better suits your purpose. Allow the acetone to evaporate away and leave the silicone covering, completely and impregnating the entire surface from front to back and every thread of canvass covered in the tent. Of course the zipper and nets will have to be protected to prevent silicone from covering them and making it more difficult to open/close the zippers and it would make the nets just a solid thin sheet of silicone with a net inside but with no openings. Take extra care around the acetone until it evaporates completely, but after that, you tent will be top notch. Congrats. I have been considering building something similar.

Nice job your attention to the little details can make a project. As with most canvas once it's wet the fibers swell and it is normally water tight after that. If you used natural fiber thread for the seams they should self seal as well, if polyester or nylon they will need to be seam sealed. Well done.

    Wouldn’t beeswax work?

Not an expert but I would assume it wouldn't be ideal for warmer climates.
