When Ken passed away, his family sold this stereo system for cheap. 6K for the amplifier for example, and $2000 for the speakers. Absolute heathens.

I used to work in the world of high-end audio, and was blessed to audition some really over-the-top systems. This one takes the cake. It's sad that this system was parted out after Ken's passing. It would have been great to have it installed in a museum.

This makes the bridge of the Starship Enterprise look positively archaic.

This is just stunning. I'd love to hear Dark Side of The Moon on this system. The only thing you can do better is have the entire room totally isolated from the rest of the house and have it sat on it's own shock absorbers. This is what Dolby Labs did in Royal Wootton Bassett, UK. The entire underground (56 seat cinema, listening room and projection room was all isolated in a huge concrete structure. This sat underground totally isolated on massive noise cancelling suspension. I've not heard anything like it.

Kinda inspired by this ive been wanting for about a decade after meeting and working for phillip k g jones or Phil Jones man that owns AAD and pjb bass the man is genius he got me thinking about horn loaded bass woofers and transmission line speakers to the point of obsession I need to just do it it needs to sound good in a small room though. Also what Phil can do with a Itty bitty 4-5 inch transducer completely blew my mind if ant of you have heard of this guy or met him or been to his house will completely understand

So sad to hear what happened after his death this year.. they took it apart and pawned for a total of maybe 100k tops... kinda sad..

I was blessed with the opportunity to have experienced Mr Fritz system. The closest sound I have experienced is when attending a concert at the Royal Opera House and even then I have my doubts of which sounds better.
