Tosin (the guy with the Ibinez, which I also think is his signature line) employs a LOT of hammer ons. He has also cribbed a lot of double strike techniques with his thumb and fingers from people like Victor Wooten, which allows him to hit way more notes than his fingers could otherwise. These guys are beyond S tier.

Generally if you're buying a seat, you should sit. No one should have to tell you; it's common decency. Solly focusing on your desired experience, while ignoring how your actions affect other patrons is not the way. Heilung brings some older folks; some who can not stand for long periods of times. If a show is general standing room only, then I don't attend. Check your privileges, and be a decent human, it shouldn't have to be said. Generally people will stand on the final song, and then sit out of respect during the closing ritual.

I just passed their assesment and they told me that while I passed the technical and knowledge portion, meaning the job, I didn’t pass the personality portion. So apparently my personality isn’t good enough for them. This really was a huge blow to my family and personally to my self esteem, I’ve been buying from sweetwater for 10 years and have 5 years music store experience. I’ll never buy from them again.

Tosin the guitarist makes up his own techniques I believe I saw a video where he explains the slappy bit where he’ll even kinda slap the string on the upstroke with his thumb so it looks like his hand is not even doing what you’re hearing.

Hey brotha if I can ask why did you quite Sweetwater? I have an interview tomorrow and I've heard some things about the company and I'm nervous. I'm trying to find my path at the moment and in a crossing roads in my life. As you can imagine stress and anxiety is pretty high and I'm not sure I want to work for a company that would make me feel too stress or have a lot of pressure with it. I am a bit too unsure about it especially if I have to move there. I don't really have the money to do so and if I made it happen it would be a huge commitment plus I would have no one there and I don't want to get stuck. It seems like a great place but what really happens on the inside. I don't want to go there just to have to figure out a way to get back home or just get stuck living there for nothing. I want to keep my MH and feel like I can thrive not the opposite. Any help would be great thank you!
