Great axe heavy attacks have something like 6-8 meters tracking distance!

I understand that but that isn't my experience in game: my 'range' is no where near that.

Imo it isn’t worth the loss in damage mitigation. Nobody runs void resist so I don’t really have problems getting kills. Gaxe does good dmg if you know the burst combos. I am currently testing switching from shower to storm tho because of a bug with shower that actually causes the walking animation (opposite of haste) when you walk through your own. A side effect of that change is more overall dmg

@@DerrekU2ber Why would it be a loss? Since the IG is mostly support wouldnt you want all the GA dmg you can get? (void) Ive never ran harnessing gear so Im just guessing.. Thanks!

@@fatapollo1557 runeglass makes your absorption gems not as effective while harnessing takes up a spot that would normally be filled with a dmg mitigation perk. It’s a big loss of your “effective healthpool” to run these things.

I’m not sure that I understand your question. It raises the dmg on the pylon hits and also the burst. Is that the info you’re looking for?

so what i mean is like the aoe bonus damage does a certain amount of damage separate of the damage increase, already tested it out after i sent the message and yeah you dont really lose any damage from the pylon if you have the perk on gear@@DerrekU2ber

the base dmg of the added aoe burst from the perk is the same minus 2% from the bonus @@DerrekU2ber

Works even when IG not out, if you also have Keen Speed on other weapon.

Yea execute is fairly telegraphed but if you force them to stam out first they have no choice lol. That’s why I keep holding heavies but hopping out before they go off, is to force dodges! Thanks for the kind words! 🙏

@@DerrekU2ber I have been running Void Darkplate in my medium Abyss/IG build. Do you think Djinn is much better?

@@Blandified dark plate is really good too but djinns just got even more valuable with the plague buffs this morning. Tbh for most people I’d say darkplate is probably the move. I had very specific reasoning behind running vigor and that was to target ranged players

I was bugged and couldn’t move at all in that clip lol

My gems weren’t great in this recording, you’re right. Theyve already changed. I plan on upgrading some champions amulets with fire or slash protection when it becomes available too Edited spell error*

Little update- they nerfed champions amulet on the ptr so that shirking empower is locked instead of stam recovery. Rip to my plans!

For most things yes but probably not the worm or an m3. I’ve run m1’s with it to farm artifacts.

I ran this a few different ways. In this clip I think it was 100 str 50 int 250 focus 150 con. (Not optimized so missing points) for that one I’d run the attuned pants if at all possible! 👍

​@@DerrekU2ber I'm trying to figure out some kind of Void/Arcane Knight setup. Not sure how much success I'll have. I need to decide whether the void gauntlet is going to be the main weapon or the secondary. I wanted to try: Medium Armor Michael artifact shield Either Ankh or Blooddrinker ring 50 STR (damage passives should apply to void blade?) 150 INT 200 FOC 200 CON Use flail for setup/defense/movement and Main the Void blade with Voracious Blade and stacking every Lifesteal in the game. It's always been a pipe dream of mine to do a crazy void blade lifesteal build.

I think there is an argument to be made for it being more viable in a combo now than it was before but yeah still not something people are choosing by the looks of it

@@pascaldota it seems like you can hold the second one even through a weapon swap. I kept forgetting that I had already used one and getting surprised by the cooldown lol.

It used to be pretty bursty before they decided to nerf damage on all the cc abilities lol

against pve is incredibly strong, but people really dont know about the fact that its an AOE. with 200str i was doing 15k-18k damage in 2 seconds with it!

Not sure which build you’re asking for specifically but around this time I was into using thwarting strikes and fireball on weapon with the incinerate perk on my armor. Both of these abilities got massive nerfs in the firestaff “buff” so these builds aren’t as viable right now.
